Man, I don't know about anyone else, but I was a bit disappointed at how things turned out towards the end of episode 13. Maybe because I wasn't expecting Ryuko to go down that easily. Well, I guess it does make some sense as she was completely caught off guard and was not in the right state of mind to battle Nui. At least she was able to hold on to that one fabric of Senketsu. Even with that, how is she going to go up against Nui now knowing that she's completely out of her league?
The new opening debuts on Episode 16. The staff stated that it would be impossible to release before then because Episode 15 is the big climax of the story. The second ending will reflect more of Ryuko’s personality. Apparently we will only understand it once seeing the last episode. It will also portray Mako’s feelings of Ryuko.
Kill la Kill will be featured on Newtype (a monthly magazine that covers anime and manga run in Japan) next month. It was confirmed that the staff which created the Rebuild films (Evangelion) will be working on the second half of Kill la Kill.
