:patrice:I think these kids mean they wish they’d have experienced the 90’s, but they're kids they get a pass.

I know it's a very overused cliche - but the world really has gone to shyt, there isn't any joy in anything anymore

everything is dark, sexual, serious, drugs...i'd hate to have been born after 9/11 too

Born in ‘80.

Love the fact that I was 10-20 in the ‘90s.

Movies, music, and wrestling have always been my thing. All that were GOAT in the ‘90s.

Anything that was dope about the 80s, got stepped up a notch in the 90s. And there were enough influence from aspects of the 70s as well.

Those kids wouldn't have survived the 90s if they could go back in time and see what it was like before the internet was popping :sas2:

They'd go to a computer and see a floppy disk and hit the:wtf:

Or be aware that if you tried to download something you actually had to go do something away from the computer while you wait 25 minutes for the file to be done

80's kids' childhood was in the 90's....
90's kids childhood was the 2000's...
lol...

if you were born in 1990... you were only 6 when pac died...
only 9 when the matrix came out
:mjlol:

nikkas would only remember half the 90's and not even fully comprehend it anyways

Culturally, shyt fell off around 05/06 and it’s not even close.

Music fell off.
Wrestling fell off.
Movies fell off.
Clubbing fell off.
Sports fell off.
Gaming fell waaaaay off (just for DLC alone)

You can’t tell me one aspect of any culture that improved once social media was introduced.

World Star was the final nail in the coffin for black culture.

The 80s had the GOAT music, movies, and comics.
(2/3 of the OG Star Wars Trilogy, Jim Shooter-era Marvel comics, MJ and Prince in their prime >>>>)

The 90s gave us the GOAT cartoons, video games, and black sitcoms.
(Saturday morning cartoons, Martin, Fresh Prince, growing up with a SNES >>>>>>>)

I wasn't around for the 70s, but that era is slept on. IMO it's tied with the 80s as the GOAT era of black music.
(Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Parliament, Mandrill, Earth Wind & Fire, Sly and the Family Stone >>>>)

The early 2000s were legit until around 2006 or 2007, IMO.
(Probably the GOAT time to be an anime fan with Toonami in it's prime. My only real beef with that era was the way 4kids butchered One Piece.)

88 baby here
I was a kid in the 90s and a teen in the 00s

The 90s were a MUCH more simpler time.
Maybe because I was a kid. But things definitely seemed more optimistic back then. Everything seem to slowly go to shyt post 9/11. And even then the 00s weren't so bad. There was still great music and skinny jeans were non-existent.
