I experienced so many great sports moments in the late 00s and 2010s

Super Bowl 42
Super Bowl 43
2010 NBA Finals
2013 NBA Finals
Super Bowl 46
Super Bowl 47
Super Bowl 49
Super Bowl 51
2016 NBA Finals
2016 World Series

Lets say for instance somebody was born in the year 2010. They were 6 years old when Lebron led the cavs to the championship after being down 3-1. Or 3 years old when ray allen hit the biggest 3 in finals history with less than 10 second left in game 6. They never experienced those memories. Same thing applies to those who were born in the early 90s with jordan and the cowboys.

You want to be born in the 70s or 80s to fully appreciate the 90s. If you were born in 94, you weren’t watching Kids Incorporated, or Family Matters.

I think being an adult in the 90s would have been fun. I turned 18 in 2002.

Agreed.

I was 10-11 in 1990..old enough to enjoy the vibe change from the 80s going into the 90s. Being young and black with that African consciousness vibe going on back then from the late 80s to the early 90s was GOAT.

I miss the conscious pro black afrocentric movement in hip-hop in the early 90s. That shyt had me wearing my dad's dashikis and african headwear fam!

I had cross colours too!

I was born December of 1999, wish I was born 10-20 years earlier.

strictly because of the music, black consciousness, and no social media. black people owning and buying our own clothing brands...etc. I fukking hate that people my age are glued to their phones 15 hours a day and the music we have today: when I compre my older brothers and my sisters childhood/teenage years to mine I get a little:ohhh::wow::mjcry:on the inside.

And yeah y’all are right. A lot of people my age are straight up weirdos. Can’t look mothafukkers in the eyes when they talking to them, don’t know how to talk to girls, etc etc..I’m glad my dad didn’t get me a phone until I was a teen so I’m not always glued to this bytch and have hobbies outside of it.

Do they mean born in the 90s or coming of age in the 90s. Cause even mid 90s ppl are in their mid 20s and they were babies then, so they don't even really know the 90s like that...but I'm a '78 breh so I really got to live in and experience the whole 80s and 90s ...and while it was different, it don't mean it was better. The hip hop was, but overall "pop culture" is not a real reflection of the times. Remember for a lot of us it was still knee deep in the "crack era"
