Crazy how quickly that happened. I think I've mentioned it before on here, but a close friend of mine who I grew up with is big in the boxing world, as he works directly with Al Haymon. Dude shot me a text like an hour ago because he knows I'm a Khan fan telling me the fight was on (he was negotiating with Khan's camp on behalf of Kell Brook), and this shyt is already announced. Damn.

As much as this fight is a weight class mismatch, that shows how many fighters/ agents/ promoters price themselves out of fights and deprive us boxing fans of great fights. No reason a Kovalev/ Stephenson or Kovalev/Ward or any big fights shouldnt happen.

That crowd is gonna be rowdy as hell on both sides. Never been in a crowd as crazy as when I went to go see Khans last fight. Them pakis were on one the entire time

Exactly, but if he loses to Brook he's not getting Danny. He loses to Canelo and all options are still open, possibly more. It was a great business decision UNLESS he gets knocked out.

He couldn't make any excuses with GGG. Whoever is the Champion after May 7th HAS to defend the belt against GGG or is stripped of the belt period.


GGG made himself mandatory just in case people played duck, duck, goose with him....which was smart on K2's behalf

I'm sorry.....is GGG the only middleweight fighting right now?? Canelo could have picked a number of middleweights to fight. Yet he picks a chinny fighter who barely has his footing in '47. This isn't even totally about Floyd....it's more so about the media. Call this fight what it really is. A farce. Fat Dan all on twitter working overtime retweeting pics of a "taller" Khan to combat the "too small" narrative. Danny Jacobs fresh off an amazing win.....get at him even.

The purpose of PPV is to make the biggest fight available every time out....who else outside of Khan would get Canelo to 900k+ buys?


JMM said no, Cotto didn't want the rematch, Pac is fighting Bradley, GGG is fighting 4/23? Khan is the biggest name fighter out there and it's a voluntary defense on HBO PPV. There was no one else
