Khan isn't a bum and dudes move up in weight all the time. To see so many dudes be in automatic hate mode like I am seeing here makes me think it has more to do with who is promoting the fight than who is actually fighting.

This isnt going to crack 900k . . canelos baseline is 300-350k, i doubt khan will bring that much interest - 500k would be a success

I cant fully understand Canelos getting hated on for this fight - as you say, there isnt anyone else out there available with a name to put on a PPV show.

Thus lies the issue.....too many people are falling over themselves to defend this fight that if you take a step back and realize, in just his last fight, Khan stunk up the joint against Algieri. This is a mismatch of epic proportions. EPIC!

One lackluster performance in a win doesn't turn a guy into a bum though.
And the weight isn't that big a deal. Bottom line is that Khan is a skilled fighter and some of those skills possibly could give Canelo a lot of issues.
On paper this is an interesting match-up.
