Lol @ this fool. The problem aint her fanbase. The problem is that many ppl are now hip to the fact that she is rude and she cant sing. She screams. Plus many ppl dont like the way she did her fam too. She should've never done that show.

Basically, Keyshia was the voice for certain women, and she represented their struggle.

Now instead of bashing so-called bitter Black females for not supporting Keyshia, why don't we bash so-called healthy Black women for not supporting Keyshia with her evolution

c/s err thang but da bolded

How bout tellin dem hoes to get da fukk over it and choose better men. :stopitslime:

Dem lonely ass bitter hoes need to go kick rocks breh. Keyshia found her shining knight and got her new family poppin.. now all dese salty ass hoes mad she glowin n floatin on cloud 9. fukk em. :rudy:

That's funny because alot of people have become tired of Beyonce's predicable singles and she is starting to become stale music wise.

I could be wrong but her last album didn't even go plat.

It went plat off the strength of Girls Run The World and Best Thing I Never Had, not shyt like Love On top and Party.

I'm sure if Budden started making Flo Rida ish happy music his fans would be upset. Certain artists have certain lanes...people expect things out of certain artists and when it's not delivered of course they'll be upset and want them to revert back to their old ways. It's really not any deeper than that. If Keyshia had been a "happy" artist from the get go there'd be no backlash...

Like Pump It Up, Fire, and Focus? :ohhh:

:what: gtfoh

same shyt happens to artist of other races who come out with an album that has a tone different than their previous work

you sambos make me sick

nikkas disrespect black women on here like they are paid to:wtb:
Most other races call it "reinventing yourself" and are a little more receptive to change as long as the music is good.

This is the point tho from Keyshia pov, it's not about her, she's making music for folks who are going through certain things. And she obviously wants to be the voice for them. And plus it wasn't just the so-called bitter women who didn't embrace her new sound.

No she doesn't. She wants to make music that reflects her present day state of mind in regards to love but she can't because the bitter bytches that continue to choose lousy men can't relate to happyness and functional relationships so she has to feed the crowd that got her to where she is.

:heh:

Reminds me of a story I read on another forum where this dude said his girl wound bring up that Beyonce song "Irreplaceable" whenever they have the slightest disagreement, if its was something minor.

Its crazy as a lot of people attack Hip Hop music for having a harmful effect on people where's some of the Beyonce/Keisha Cole songs are just as bad.

And Grown Women be getting gassed off of these records too.

Its scary as on this site we all stan our favorite rappers in The Booth and what not but the way Beyonce influence some of these women in real life out here is :merchant:

I mean if a Pac stan gets into it whenever a employee a Burger King there not gonna be like...

:pacspit: "fukk Burger King as a restaurant, store and a motherfukking crew, if you wanna down with Burger King then fukk you, White Castle, fukk you too, all you motherfukkers.

Then proceeds to spit on said employee and yell while you walking out HAVE A GOOD SUMMER bytch :pacspit:

Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Britney Spears dropping that positive piff :ahh:

:dj2:

hov told these nikkas on ignorant shyt

I understand this point, but at the same time, she didn't reach a new audience either with her new sound. It's a hard for thing artist, breaking away from what got them where they are.

But she isn't go about it the right way, she can still keep certain elements of her old style, while doing her new thing. She just needs to get with the right people.

Keyshia needs to learn how to do a good blend of happy songs and the bitter songs.

Her problem with the last cd was that she changed lanes completely and her core audience didn't want to make that lane change so quick.

She didn't ease her audience into her vision.

She needs to get with a good team and make it happen.

"We could be" and "Heaven Sent" are classics to me so she has it in her.

Keyshia Cole has never really made positive music, "You complete me" is the only really positive song from her that I can think of
