bytchmade c00n shyt. And the folks agreeing with samuel got the nerve to complains about black women wearing weave or straightening their hair

It’s not. It’s an honest assessment based upon reality. Generally when a brother is at the top they tend to not have locks, golds, etc. now could that change over the next few decades of course. But what is the general consensus of those here in the states who have those jobs.

Wait.. what you mean?!:martin:

Im in Australia, so it's always hot and I'm always at the beach swimming.. so my shyt comes unravelled all the time. Tbh this is the first time I've had regular retwists.. so my hairs gonna fall out?! How?!:jbhmm:

I'm 31 with a strong hairline, so I thought I'd be fine.. I've had dreads twice before but they were freeform and I didn't touch it, so I'm new to this keeping em nice and formed life:jbhmm:
Yeah unfortunately over twisting causes strain of the locs and hairline and eventually breakage. Also getting them styled to often and tight isn’t good and contributes as well.

One other big thing to remember is don’t let your barber push your hairline back to far with lineups like this bruhs.

He’s going to have to let his shyt go real soon :francis:

:dead: leave to a youtube expert to tell you what you can or can't wear.
They're really liberal on the clothing/grooming options at my job despite us being a "conservative" industry.

One of the black managers I've mentioned on here before HAS DREADS. And he isn't some regular ol'
supervisor. Bro is like a level 2 or 3 manager, rocking the red, green & black and standing in direct opposition
to these mexicans and white folks. :mjpls:
Still dreaded up.
I don't know if that's been a direct obstacle to his career but, he's clearing a cool $120k+ easy, so if that's being "held back"
I think I'd be fine with it.

Yeah bro twisting that often will thin your roots out. I get it that swimming a lot unravels your shyt it happens to me too but u either gotta accept it was unravel sometimes or risk your roots getting thin from too much retwist. Try getting your hair styled up so when you swim it might not unravel as much

Yeah ppl are too emotional in this thread. They are offended by any standards or rules.

what’s the difference than when you go to the military? They make you cut your hair. Smh @ this thread

fukk this dude. I get compliments on my locs all the time. Hell the the same plant manager that actually wants me to go management asked if I was ever going to cut my hair, I said not in the foreseeable future, and he said you better not
I'mma keep it real..for every nikka or lady that I see rocking some fire ass locs, I see about four or five whose locs looks like complete shyt.
