Yes. So basically you’re a white company’s token “get out of jail” card.

From what I understand, if a company ever gets into some “racial trouble” or foresees a racial incident, the D&I person clears it up so the company saves face. You also advocate on how the company is doing so well to create CHANGE, yet the management at the top is all cacs.

Theres no real growth from this position, only upside is the C-suite level salary. If they’re even getting that.
