Their strict dress code is nothing but suits.
Depends on your age and goals. I really think that you can use your wardrobe as a tool to get what you want whether it's that first date, have a conversation with a potential business partner, or anything else you want in life.
It doesn't have to be suits. For some people's world it is. I know some folks wearing ill fitting clothes, not taking pride in how they present themselves or they simply don't care.
Really it's just a conversation or perspective. Frankly if I feel like I look and smell good I perform better in the arena of life I'm operating in that day.
Martin Luther and Malcolm wore suits 24/7 and were shot in them.
There was no Jordans, dreads, athletic gear, torn skinny jeans etc in the 50s and 60s, yet Black people were terrorised, hounded, hunted and stigmatised by the entire white society and all its levers.
Black people must stop thinking that appeasing racists by acting meek in a suit will make them love us. That to me is stupid, we have experience going back centuries with white people so must now know they are what they are no matter the year.
We are a colorful, bright, creative and fashionable people whose spirit cannot be confined to the whims and evil desires of a lunatic white population.
These people believe in their heart of hearts that Trump won the election, isn't responsible for half a million covid deaths and was a great statesmen.
Trust me, such people don't give a fukk what a Black is wearing or his grooming. Whether you're LeBron in a suit or the average dude they still hate your guts.

I get what you're saying and I agree with you but I think Black Men's images are hijacked by the media. This is insidious and done by White media a lot. We have complained on here about what the media's images of us they put out so maybe if we control it in our own manner then it would something no one can take from us. Hell, you know how many women, Black women, like a man in a suit, stepping out smelling nice looking good? It's not always about white people.
This brotha in Dallas owns @blackmeswear IG and he goes to different cities doing flash mobs with Black men. I think it's dope. I'm not going to dress like this every day but it shouldn't make us uncomfortable nor should other brothas be clowned or accused of wanting white acceptance for wanting to every now and then.
Note people's biggest reason why they are against suits is because they think it's about white people. Narrow minded.
These modern cacs I imagine hate and fear the smart looking Black man in a suit more than the one in dreads and torn jeans because he's a bigger threat than the one they consider useless.

agreed. Thats what i dont get about this Kevin Samuels phenomena, dude was on youtube reviewing mens fragrances a couple years ago. Now he's some kind of high value man guru. Its all good cause money is money but yall should know that he's just an entertainer.
