I don't even think he will go there unless wwe fires him. He already expressed his desire to stay in nxt so he doesn't have to travel and put wear and tear on his broken down body
He didn’t wanna leave nxt because nxt allowed him to wrestle once a week if not every other week whereas the main roster he’d have to do multiple dates a week via house shows, that’s what he meant by travel. I’m pretty sure he can get the same type of schedule on aew since they dont do house shows and wwe is phasing out old indy dudes from nxt

Eventually the bubble has to burst right as far as AEW goes, right? Like the hype is there now and for good reason but I would have to think that at some point there’s just not gonna be enough TV time to go around.

Hopefully Khan thinking this shyt through because they may explode like what WWE is currently enduring. Unless they are planning more shows, hours, or brand splits, there's going to be a shyt load of egos and bytching from the locker room:picard:. They may have to throw the bag at Paul Heyman to turn angry wrestlers into marks :wow:

Y’all talking about ratings and moving the needle.

why would I as a viewer even care about ratings tho? :unimpressed:

As long as I’m entertained :manny:

Folks keep wanting this Attitude Era/WCW rating pop off to happen, when that will never happen:beli:. Dub is going to keep being in the 1.0+ bracket and WWE 2.0+ bracket.

I swear I want to punch Alverez in his fukking beak everytime he drops a rating tweet :francis:

How deep are khans pockets? Can he keep up with all these expirings? :mjlol:

are these dudes taking a discount to have more freedom?

4 times wealthier than the Mcmahon family. At this point AEW could run at an operational loss and be used to save on taxes. But from what we know it was profitable before all those signings. I don't think they breaking anything. Ticket sales and merch sales compensate but they can handle a loss. They could lose 10M a month and operate for another 70 years assuming they make no money elsewhere.

I wouldn't be worried

PAC too. I wouldn’t be surprised if KO and Sami didn’t make that jump somewhere down the line too :manny:
I was just saying this the other day and dudes were clowning but if you don’t think the likes of a Sami or KO were watching what happened this weekend and didn’t get the itch to join their buddies and contemporaries then I dunno what to tell you. When contracts start coming up we’ll see what happens

Love those saying g Steen stays in WWE. He gone, bookmark this post. What's even better is those saying oh noes the roster is full, how will they cope.

Ummm, who cares, you still sign Steen, Cole, End, Bryan and Punk the moment you can with your eyes fukking closed.

Guys like Wyatt and Murphy are also available and most likely not AEW bound and if the roster gets full fuxk it, you release Sunny Kiss, Kip, Hager, Scorpio Sky, Jack Evans, Aaron Solow, Comowhatever, Lee Johnson, Leva, Ziggler's brother, I could name another 5 or 10. No big deal lollll

There is zero common sense and business creativity in not getting these guys unless you're transitioning outta the wrasslin business like the wwe is

In what world would Owens or Zayn stay, they're super close to the Bucks and Cole, they're wrestling fans and they probably got bored of losing to the likes of Baldberg. fukk the wwe and everything about it

Marks will say “khan is a billionaire he can spend all he wants and not worry about anything” .. completely disregarding a business has to turn a profit regardless. He has admitted they are in the hole financially. Only an idiot would wanna keep operating at a loss.

They got Football AND Futbol money. So it’s pretty long, breh. (Pause)

And this mentality is what happened to this promotion:

wcw.jpg

I don't want homegrown indie talent to get the boot for a bunch of WWE catering fillers:unimpressed:. A wrestling promotion suppose to cater to all aspects of the company, not just a selected few to "own the WWE". And if WWE scoops those guys and put the battery in their backs, then what:francis:

That's not good business at all breh.

Two of the teams are REALLY not hot in both areas :picard:. While the Khans are wealthy. The fact remains that this is a pet project compared to owning two franchises.

I know none billionaires that have and keep active operational losses in order to pay less tax. It often only takes a brilliant accountant team to break even but they ain't staying at a loss, takes an idiot to ignore that. They were at a loss during the pandemic with no ticket sales and no live merch. I doubt they're currently bleeding.
