ROH somehow is the father of lot of modern wrestling. Too be bad they could never leverage that to be as big AEW is currentlyROH ain't getting enough credit for being the developmental of basically the entire wrestling market right now.
They do get the recognition from the OG fans.ROH ain't getting enough credit for being the developmental of basically the entire wrestling market right now.
The new car smell always wears off, which is why monitoring numbers immediately after debuts is silly. We have years of documentation pre-WCW and ECW folding of big names switching sides not resulting in immediate returns. It's about what you do with all those names longterm and whether you give people a reason to stick around.Guys like KO, Andrade, Aleister Black, Adam Cole.. are not gonna bring in anymore viewers than they already have. Even Punk only brought them a slight bump and the shine is gone now, already back to where they were before him.
Will be interesting to see how the numbers do with DB. We’ll find out in a couple days.
they could always go back to the riveting storylines they were doing on WWE programming.Going to? Andrade and FTR already fed up lol. There has to be dozens more that feel the same way.
AEW has to be careful balancing their roster. Too much talent can lead to egos clashing. Guys thinking they deserve a bigger role. I can see guys like Lance Archer and Bryan Cage complain that they aren't the main eventers they thought they would be.
Wrestling fans aren’t enough?
As long as arenas are being filled, merch is selling, and viewership is steady, the casuals don’t matter.
AEW isn’t even a publicly shared company.Every business needs casual viewers and customers breh. The wrestling industry isn’t any different as the shareholders will always want more and more profit
