ROH ain't getting enough credit for being the developmental of basically the entire wrestling market right now.

Most of us realize that but ROH dropped the ball. After TNA fell back some.. They had the deal with NJPW and sold out MSG for WM35 weekend. i was at the show.. it felt like a big deal. But from that point on they signed the wrong talent and never put an emphasis on improving the production values.

in the end.. they sold out to Sinclair thinking they'd get a money transfusion and Sinclair did what they are known to be.... cheap fukks.

AEW has to be careful balancing their roster. Too much talent can lead to egos clashing. Guys thinking they deserve a bigger role. I can see guys like Lance Archer and Bryan Cage complain that they aren't the main eventers they thought they would be.

Guys like KO, Andrade, Aleister Black, Adam Cole.. are not gonna bring in anymore viewers than they already have. Even Punk only brought them a slight bump and the shine is gone now, already back to where they were before him.

Will be interesting to see how the numbers do with DB. We’ll find out in a couple days.
The new car smell always wears off, which is why monitoring numbers immediately after debuts is silly. We have years of documentation pre-WCW and ECW folding of big names switching sides not resulting in immediate returns. It's about what you do with all those names longterm and whether you give people a reason to stick around.

That's why Danielson is worth more than every signing they've made combined or will make moving forward, he's not only at the top of his game in the ring but he's clearly one of the best minds in wrestling period. The Kofi WM run, the current Tribal Chief run, his finger prints were all over those from the creative side. As long as Khan and the EVPs stay out of his way, he'll cook.

When I look AEW's roster there's a lot of people they could let go too, they could basically upgrade, let some lesser talents go and get some better, but of course you still need different wrestlers to be mid and lower card too. But if they create some dope stories and personal issues they could make the shyt work. It's gonna be interesting.

Going to? Andrade and FTR already fed up lol. There has to be dozens more that feel the same way.
they could always go back to the riveting storylines they were doing on WWE programming. :mjlol:

As for Owens...I could see him staying. Based on his past interviews and Podcasts...I think he's terrified of the uncertainty or unpredictability of the wrestling world outside of WWE. He probably dropped that tweet to add a few extra hundred thousand to his offer. That nikka got family, I don't think he gives a shyt about creative fulfillment.

Wrestling fans aren’t enough? :dead:

As long as arenas are being filled, merch is selling, and viewership is steady, the casuals don’t matter. :skip:

Every business needs casual viewers and customers breh. The wrestling industry isn’t any different as the shareholders will always want more and more profit :laff:

AEW isn’t even a publicly shared company. :mjtf:

Doesn’t matter as there people in the background who’ve helped invest the company and would like to see a ROI from it :comeon:

Khan and Family aren’t footing the bill for all of this solo contrary to popular belief as that’s not how business works. Look at the bigger picture and stop listening to every little detail that the dirt sheets tell you as it’s obvious where their bias is skewed.
