This shyt is like when Pinky and the Brain started up World Domination Wrestling in EWR. Just taking up all the talent, and really it would be no surprise if he leaves. AEW is becoming Death Row Records.:mjlol:

This is what happened to wcw. All the washed guys jumped ship and wcw originals went to wwe to.become stars . Austin hhh foley etc:mjlol:

They couldn’t even come up with a good story for CM Punk. It was just hey guys I’m back lol.

AEW only cares about putting on good matches for their hardcore marks who are already gonna tune in week after week regardless.

:patrice:Most of the signs ups are in their 30s.

WCW was hiring wrestlers in their 40s:scust:.

Different kind of flab:flabbynsick:.

The OGs are just playing the background with the exception of Sting (don't mind, dude can go), Big Show (:camby:), and Christian (dude needs to be MVP of 2021).

Eventually the bubble has to burst right as far as AEW goes, right? Like the hype is there now and for good reason but I would have to think that at some point there’s just not gonna be enough TV time to go around.

I think the difference is these guys can sign to AEW, work in other promotions and do their side shyt like Twitch. Most of these guys came up through the indies so they will be perfectly happy with that.

This. There's a big difference between going through the "Forbidden Door" and working in NJPW, Impact, etc. and going through the "Forbidden Door" and going to Smackdown or NXT.

AEW only cares about putting on good matches for their hardcore marks who are already gonna tune in week after week regardless.

Oh no, not good wrestling matches! Oh the humanity!

In all seriousness, with you being a Hardcore WWE mark you're blinded by the momentum shift that's taking place.

That depends.. They don't seem to mind having guys go work for other companies or do a tour in Japan and rotate dudes in and out of the Dynamite picture so we'll see if they can continue doing that.

I actually don't like all these AEW signings, assuming they get him.

Aews had the better show than WWE to me since Dynamite began not because their roster is better (until recently WWE had the better roster and they still might), but because they were doing 2 hour shows once a week that were fast paced, felt fresh, had focused storylines, and everybody on the card had an identity. Now you can see they're getting to have too many guys on the roster to use well.

I just want a good wrestling show 2 hrs a week and 4 PPVs a year. I don't want to see them get to the point where they're mostly just throwing "good" wrestlers out there doing random sh1t and expect it to work because everybody involved is good.

Definitely agree on the bubble part, but I think that's going to be a much bigger issue if for whatever reason working relationships with other promotions stop.

When's Sami Zayn's contract up? I ask because I can absolutely see them having Neckbeard Jesus come in and turn on him on his first night in a new company too. :mjlol:

End of this year. Who knows what he could be thinking too. He did just recently say he's been doing some of the best work of his career so who the heck knows what his intentions are
