Pretty close but Austin's huge pops started after WM 14 and beyond.....they chanted more for Goldberg week to week for awhile.

It's like none of you nyggas watched this shyt in 1998:laugh: All of this revised nonsense. It's comedy though. Go run to Youtube and get back to reality.
Austin and Goldberg were both crazy over in 98. Austin just sold way more merch.

Goldberg was as over as anybody in the history of the business at one point

So it's not a stretch to say he was more over than Austin at that point

That's WCW fault. Just like them putting Nash over for a NWO reunion that lost ratings.

I Agree. WCW Was Horrible At Merchandise Outside Of The nWo Shirts. Whereas Austin was getting a new shirt like every month. Vince got the merchandise game on lock

When the fukk did one arena equate an entire fanbase worldwide at the time? LOL. People be letting these one time little smark arenas go to their heads. If it's not consistent, it doesn't matter.

Nash was top 5 over guys in 1998.... the reason they tanked was Hogan..... nash if he actually kept the belt wouldve been ok.

but after hogan got it right back.... nobody was tryin to see that Hogan vs Flair bullsh1t for the umpteenth time

then bringing back red n yellow :what: Hogan is and always will be a cancer

He was a big deal in 1998 but he's not a big deal in history after the fall of WCW. If he was, a hyped return would matter. There's a reason people were AMPED big time in 2011 to see Sting vs Taker....and there's a reason why they weren't to see Nash vs Punk.

so you admit he was a big deal in '98. excellent. so at THAT time him winning the belt wasnt a problem. and if he kept it it wouldnt have been a problem. the problem was that red and yellow piece of sh1t

Of course he was a big fukking deal. Who do you think you're talking to? I knew about Nash before you ever got on his bandwagon. He was over. He was apart of the face Wolfpac deal but Goldberg was the TRUE draw in WCW at the time. He was just a novice in the game and didn't know how to handle any of that stuff. Nash booking himself to go over Goldberg was a problem. The follow up made no sense..he laid down for Hogan in a farce and from that point on, the bullshyt finishes started to get out of hand and they were doing fukking celebrity matches and making Arquette champion. All kind of wack weird shyt that made no sense whatsover.

The fukk does that have to do with whether Sting belongs on the E site or not? Whether he was relevant or not, he still allowed to have his opinion.

If were basing off merit he at least has more merit to talk than you
