The thing is I truly think you can create sting with multiple other wrestlers. Magnum TA probably would've been WAY bigger than sting ever got. The NWO well would not have worked if not for Nash and hall and Hogan. I guess maybe HDK could have taken Nash's place. Sting is a fairly replaceable person in wrestling history. It's not a popular belief but I personally think it's true. John Cena for example is basically sting. in reality John cena actually sold more and drew more than sting ever did would or could. And I fukking hate John Cena.

Will way off topic right now, but Nash is pretty right sting is not a WWE alumni. It doesn't make sense.

Sting was as over as it gets especially for someone booked and marketed by complete imbeciles most of his career. Put a prime Sting in the WWF exactly as he was with the "machine" behind him and he blows Cena away, that's not a knock on John. Sting is/was a tailor made "for the women and kids" superstar

That's a whole lotta coulda, woulda, shoulda hypotheticals for one topic tho :pachaha:

Not really. Sting is adored in 2013. Is Nash? Nope. Sting made more money than Nash. And you know DAMN WELL Sting don't care about jobbing or any shyt like that. He tried to get goofballs like Vampire over. You been going around for years thinking he "played" Sting? Nash is begging for WWE jobs and Sting makes what? A million a year for limited dates?

That's just fan anger. Money was still being made. The Goldberg run was huge but in the end, like Pepsi said in Casino, "we fukked it ALL UP".

:rudy:

They were still making money after the fingerpoke and streak ending.

Fan anger? Reread your posts. Nope, they fukked up a year long build with that match. what the hell are you talking about

Sting matters. Nash never did. Simple. Breaking Goldberg's streak and laying down during a hyped main event were two top reasons that crushed WCW's momentum. Sting headlined the most bought WCW PPV in history. They have all kind of guys that weren't WWE connected in the HOF. Get real.

What... does any of this... have to do with whether or not Sting ever wrestled for WWF/E?

Doesn't matter if he wrestled there. They own his legacy and the rights to the company he worked for throughout most of his career. He's all over the 24/7 channel. Obviously Vince thinks he deserves it. There's still money to be made with Sting (HOF induction, DVDs, toys, shirts, a new autobiography) and that's really why WWE has paid him the respect they have when they don't have to. They could pretend he doesn't exist but they don't. Vince is waiting for that day when he's finally done with TNA.

I see everyone is playing the slow game on Saturday. Read and pay attention although I am surprised to see you in a thread not defending a bad Cripple H or Vince push or decision.

They were making money in 1999? Do you have any idea how much money was being lost from 1999-the day they got bought out. Wake up.

And the year long build was fukked up. Giving the belt bag and lazy booking did though.

It wasn't all downhill after Starrcade 97 though. They had a big 1998...Goldberg was more over than Austin. It was when they didn't follow up on the Goldberg loss a year later and made insane booking decisions that they fell from grace. The money losses prove it. That's above any type of perception one has led themselves to believe all these years. Period.

Pretty close but Austin's huge pops started after WM 14 and beyond.....they chanted more for Goldberg week to week for awhile.

It's like none of you nyggas watched this shyt in 1998:laugh: All of this revised nonsense. It's comedy though. Go run to Youtube and get back to reality.
