I know. I always knew they would go with Peter, it's just that this was a great time to introduce Miles Morales. The #1 problem they have right now with Spider-Man is how to re-introduce a character w/o going through the same origin events that people are tired of already. One of the 1st reaction videos to Spidey going to the MCU, is that video of the Spanish dude laughing that Uncle Ben is gonna die again. The best way to fix that problem, is to go with another Spider-Man. And yes Peter Parker is THE Spider-Man to everybody, but this would be a good opportunity to do to Spider-Man, what DC did to the Flash and Green Lantern in the 90s. Barry Allen was THE Flash to everybody, but in the 90s DC killed him off and replaced him with Wally West. The Justice League cartoons, which introduced a lot of non comic readers to Green Lantern, used Jon Steward instead of Hal Jordan. So to most people growing up in the 90s, Wally West was their Flash and Jon Steward was their Green Lantern, and they were both beloved. Miles Morales popularity is rising, especially among younger comic readers. Marvel could do pull a DC and make Miles Morales this generations Spider-Man, and this would be a good time to pull that off.I hear you breh but did you really think Marvel or Feige was going to pass up the chance to put their cash cow and most popular character in a movie with iron man, cap, hulk, etc.? A character they've been trying to get their hands on since forever? Marvel is in love with Peter Parker (as they should be) and the brand value in his name alone guaranteed this was going to play out the way it did.
With CGI technology what it is today, I don't know why studios haven't used Mysterio yet as a villian. He's not particularly my favorite but he could make for some very cool sequences in a movie...
Must be that fishbowl helmet not translating well on film.

That I'm not sure of. I thought he was a special effects genius in the film industry.Aint Misterio technically a Mutant?
I feel y'all but again he stated why. There are stories from high school he wants to tell and wants to contrast a kid with this group of adults
This.
I feel like there's definitely a wider scope of stories that can be told with Peter as a kid. The rest of the Avengers literally being when he hits them with his humour and the idea that they have to go out of their way to protect him during battles.
I wasn't a big fan of the idea of a new teen 'Spidey' at first, but they've said they want whoever they choose to grow in the role like Harry Potter, so I had to give it up. We get both college and high school Spidey and an ongoing series that could go further than three films?
In.
Nah breh he's a special effects guy who lost his job and decided to use his skills to pull of bank jobs
I forget that there are two Mysterios. I was thinking of Francis KlumThat I'm not sure of. I thought he was a special effects genius in the film industry.
Exactly. He'll start in high school and we get to see him in college which will make for a richer story. Plus I'd love to see some kid try to smart mouth these grown ass men and women only for him to show he's truly smarter than damn near all of them except maybe Bruce and tony. And that's a strong maybe. It also helps to show how unique he is as a character.
fuuuuuk peter parker sick of his origin story, sick of his stupid fukking corny jokes during fights, and sick of his love stories....officially not excited for new spiderman even if it is under marvel, shyt is ant man status for me now
