Why we gotta go back in high school again...:what:

He explained why breh :deadrose:

I can see how that is. Just by my posting around here, it's pretty obvious I'm about that silly shyt. Fourth wall breaking, cutscenes with chibi characters... all that good shyt

Not AS nonsensical, but it harkens back to the days of The Tick and Animaniacs for me.

I can respect that breh. You like what you like. Normally I'm with that too but it just doesn't work for Spidey to me. Especially when they try to have deep poignant moments, like him talking about how he never gets a fair shot in life and how he has so much bad luck..and I'm looking at the show in front of me and wondering how in the hell is that even remotely true for this show?

I knew Miles Morales being in the MCU was too good to come true. We're lucky enough to get Black Panther and a good Falcon on screen. But man, this was the perfect opportunity to put Miles on screen.

I hear you breh but did you really think Marvel or Feige was going to pass up the chance to put their cash cow and most popular character in a movie with iron man, cap, hulk, etc.? A character they've been trying to get their hands on since forever? Marvel is in love with Peter Parker (as they should be) and the brand value in his name alone guaranteed this was going to play out the way it did.

Douche :deadrose:

I always give anything spidey a try and a fair shot cause I'm an addict, but that show just doesn't work for me on any level. I'd watch spider man and his amazing friends before that show
:russ:

Gotta admit I tried but I just wasn't feeling it. Do like the art style of it but that's where any kind of love for it ends.

The art style doesn't even work that well because the movements are so stiff. The reason Greg Weisman wanted the animation style for spectacular was for the fluid movement of spidey..the jumps, the agility, etc. And on ultimate, I can tell how the decision to go with a bigger bulkier blockier style hinders the show

Well I agree with that but I think that you're inferring to the animation aspect more than the art. It can be argued that they go hand in hand but artistically, I just love the character designs, backgrounds, etc.

Feige the God knows more than me, but that doesn't change the fact that I have very littler interest in young awkward "finding love" Peter Parker again. I don't know wtf I'm talking about, but they probably really want to build up that Flash Thompson dude too

Ah I got you. Yeah I am thinking animation rather than art. I see exactly what you're saying. Well in that case, I do like the art style but i don't like the animation style

Flash, Liz Allen, Sally Avril, Robbie's kid...Peter possibly dating Betty or Liz before MJ. You don't have to have him "finding love" but there's always been an awkward ness to Pete. Not in the goofy stereotypical revenge of the nerds awkwardness, but just him being a weird cat. He marches to the beat of his own drum
