RGIII, Russell Wilson, or any of the athletes deemed "corny" aren't getting that label from females. They were star athletes in high school. It's guaranteed they had half the girls sweating them. Star quarterbacks on a college campus could bag anything.
KD was all world in high school. Awkward or not he could take the coolest guy in the school's girl because they'll take a future NBA prospect over a future UPS worker.
Most of that "so and so is corny" talk is from men who think they're cooler than the person they're hating on.
Plenty of star athletes who were still given the ick from girls in high school.
Head could catch open breaks like a Heisman winner but if he chewed with his mouth open n smacked like a cow he was given a wide berth.

This ain’t the music or the movie industry. High profile Athletes are not like profile actors or artists. Their success aren’t tied to women because the majority of their public is male. They don’t have to justify their dating and mating choices to anyone.
He can date any type of girl, it won’t affect his reputation or image . He will still be rich as fukk and popular. KD doesn’t need black female support and approval. He never needed it to be popular and wealthy, he’s a NBA player/professional athlete ffs. Men are his biggest supporters, the professional sports industry is supported by men mostly. He won’t lose revelance, visibility, credibility, money and popularity because of dating pawgs. And brehs won’t bash him for that anyway.
As long as he’s healthy, skilled and productive in the nba he’s good to go imo . As long as high profile athletes constantly perform at a high level they don’t have to worry about anything.
