Nets had an honest shot at a championship when they had them and that's what they paid for. If Kyrie doesn't have that freak accident last year, they were coasting on the champs. Nets had a window and they took their shot.

Everybody getting healthy around the league, more talent coming in and that means teams are getting too stacked 1-5 for a KD/Kyrie combo to win it all. All they're doing is getting older. That Memphis game at the end of the year was a great example: KD and Kyrie go off for about 80 and still lost by double digits when the Grizzlies didn't even have Ja.

Again, Nets should trade for multiple teams' draft picks because a lot of domestic and foreign talent coming into the league the next few years.

You don't want to run to where the ball is, you want to run to where the ball is going.

No reason to trade harden? Dude had str8 quit on the team. Like literally just letting the ball roll out of bounds. Resign him back for $45 a year for what?

You mean like how KD has NOW and yet Brooklyn are refusing to trade him unless they get a Kings ransom? :comeon:

You don’t trade a player who made you damn near unbeatable for Ben damn Simmons when you’re CONTENDING.

“Bron has ruined plenty of teams with his moves”
Yeah if you call winning championships And playing in ten finals ruining teams. Of course your bytch ass found a way to make this about LeBron. The Lakers and the Cavs were in the lottery before LeBron signed.:mjlol:
Lakers missed the playoffs last year due to LeGm, let's not even go there

The rumors before the trade was that in the worst case Morey was going to wait until the offseason and unload Simmons and Harris and find a way to get Harden. Who knows how hard that would have been , but with Harden apparently willing to take less money it might have been a real threat for the Nets to consider.

THIS IS THE NBA BREUAGH.
YOU GOTTA TRADE MONEY FOR MONEY.

UNLOADING THOSE GUYS WOULD
HAVE JUST BROUGHT BACK IN
SIMILAR PAY ROLL.

THEY WOULDNT HAVE BEEN
ABLE TO OFFER HARDEN ANYTHING
MORE THAN THE MLE OR VET MINIMUM SO IT WASNT HAPPENING.

James Harden showed you twice he will become toxic and quit. Nobody really believes Durant would go the harden way. Nobody.

that's understood. Harris would have been absorbed by somebody with cap space (that's going be a rumor until his contract is up) and they probably would have had to move Simmons by the dead line for a package that would have opened money up by the offseason. Just adding context to why the Nets probably didn't feel like it was a stone cold lock that Harden would have stayed. It probably was obvious behind the scenes that Morey and Harden had plans to link regardless in the offseason so the nets made the best move at the time instead of risking losing harden for nothing

It wasn't the perfect system because he got no credit for his legacy from the fans

Perfect system would be the impression that MJ got when he won 6 with the Bulls.

Where idiots and writers can't discredit him
KD's legacy is in a better place now than it was in 2016. Before joining GS, he was never hailed up as some playoff GOAT and outside of a brief 2-3 month period in 2014 never got any serious 'best in the world' hype

Two rings and four appearances came in Miami where he wasn’t LeGM and the bubble is the bubble, where’s his team now and? Get his dikk out your mouth, he has wife, no need for you to be jockeying to be his side bytch lil ho
NBA says it’s four rings. So it’s four rings. :umad:

Funny how a warriors fan is downplaying championships as if you team didn’t add a top 3 player to beat LeBron :dead: you should be thanking KD for giving your team two easy “rings” they cake-walked to.

Dusty ass hoe go drink some Bay Area flavored bleach.

this shyt was doomed from the start

Exactly, dudes talking about Nash being garbage missing the point. Of course he's garbage. Only reason he was hired is these dudes don't want a real coach.

When KD left OKC he said he want to play in a system that emphasize team ball. Then when he left GS he was bytching about Kerr and his system, he just wanted to ball. Now he want a real coach again?:mjlol:
