That's exactly my point. Being the best player in the world doesn't make you a great leader. It just makes you more talented than your peers.
People put that label on Kevin Durant. He didn't put that label on himself. Even when Durant answered that exact question, he mentioned nothing about leadership in that equation.

Not everyone is built to be a leader, but those that arent dont have to go about like he is
But you're arguing past the point being made. We can't consider KD the best player in the world when his lack of leadership is detrimental to his success.
A less Talented KD who could get Kyrie and Ben Simmons on the court regularly or Harden to take the game seriously would be considered a better player.
