Nah you misunderstood what I said. Beal isn't trying to make these big front office, coaching and personnel decisions...so he would be actually a better example of your argument. KD is trying to be that dude, he literally went to BK to do all of that. So you can't claim 'he doesn't wanna be a leader' when his actions clearly show he wants to be (and was given the keys by the Nets).
Again, I say just because he has made those leaderships decisions in Brooklyn still doesn’t make him an actual leader even if that was what his intentions were. People make leadership decisions all the time, but I’m willing to bet you would admit that they aren’t actual leaders or display those qualities.

DUDE

Your talking in circles

KD tried to be a “leader” and failed, now he wants out.

Your point about KD “not having to be a leader”doesn’t apply when this dude basically ran that franchise for a few seasons and is now mad they aren’t doing everything he wants anymore.

If you TRY to be a leader and it turns into a shyt show you will be clowned REGARDLESS

Good leadership is also recognizing when someone is incapable of being led and not dealing with said person. Kyrie is CLEARLY one of these people. Not even LeBron could reign him in for long and yet KD thought it was a good idea to link up with him cuz they're "besties".

Favorite player. Best player in the world to me, but dude was moving stupid with this Brooklyn/Kyrie thing.

Can't really blame him for Harden though. Nobody could have predicted his game would fall off a cliff and he'd force his way off his 2nd team in as many years. Nor can he be blamed for Ben Simmons not playing. None of these things have anything to do with leadership.

If Harden is Harden and Kyrie gets the vaccine, none of this would even be a conversation, but it's easy to get your shyt off and run "See?! He's not a leader!" act when the failure has beenthis epic, so I get it.

Ya'll will be silent again soon enough.

I disagree, he didn’t fail cause of trying, he failed cause of wanting out when it went sideways. Leaders fail all the time but stick it out and find other ways to turn things around.

KD needs to cut this mess out , bro embarrassing his damn self.
Yeah so wat, ya old crew did it again without you...why wouldn't you just wanna run it back with your highly favored squad in hopes of running into them (GS) and giving em a humble if them winning burns you up that much?

I don't think he was bluffing, the Nets asking price is just too high and the options out there are extremely limited
They're essentially non-existent at this point if he's wanting to go to contenders as they just don't have the combination of picks/players to offer. He lost whatever leverage he had the moment that Phoenix matched Ayton's offer sheet and Mitchell hit the market. Miami should really consider it though especially with their win now window with an aging Lowry and Butler.
