LOL a lot of the shyt he said is shyt that I felt at the time. Like when he said he saw the Grindin video for the first time and was like "WTF IS THIS :krs: " that's the same shyt I said the first time I saw it on MTV

Also he referenced The Box (music television YOU control...) and that's how I got into a lot of West Coast music at the time because the East was'nt really on it like that.

The best part is I have just about all those albums...like 20 out of 25 of em

I like that his list is personal to him. Not no generic shyt everybody say.

This is a list of his 25 "Favorite" albums. Also there is no order to the list.

If you read the descriptions, most of these albums are the shyt that got the most play when he was growing up, this aint a critical review of every hip hop album ever made.

My top 25 Favorite would look alot different than if I was trying to name the best 25 Albums I've ever heard.

Yeah, I don't remember the last time I heard a song from Illmatic on any of the main radio stations here in Los Angeles after 1999. If I heard anything on the radio it was this year on a small station if I remember right.

Some LA heads confirm, when was the last time an Illmatic song was played? How about something featuring Wu Tang?

If anything, I'm surprised no mention of Outkast since you do hear it here often.

Ok ok:calmdown: I had question em havin Jayz goat as a west coast nikka...but now I see that wuz politics to not enrage the east coast media:myman:....nikka has sum of my favorite albums in there that I don't think get enuff mention....Chopper City by BG is that album, one of the greatest albums of all time....and Lil Wayne Da Block Is Hot is underated, best Wayne album besided C2....if u wuz about the same age as wayne when it dropped u gotta luv that album....Charlie Hustle probaly my 3rd or 4th favorite E40 album tho.

And u can't get mad he left albums out,ask him tommorow and hell probaly have different albums...just like namin top 25 rappers.....my top 10 is pretty consistent and cemented.....anything after that is probaly gon change at different times.

Its always the nikkas wit a undiverse top 10 or top 25 complainin about sumbody elses.
