Shut the fukk up.
We can't talk about an album you haven't listened to. If you ain't played it, you don't have not one damn legitimate opinion to discuss.
I know you're not retarded, because of that one good Seinfeld post, so I have to assume you're just trolling.
I've been addressing actual opinions on To Pimp a Butterfly all throughout the thread because those people had actual criticisms based on actual experience with an album they actually listened to. Until you prove to be anything other than some lowly troll, I'm going to continue to laugh in your face and shyt on your posts.
Dont cry!
You're getting defensive. I've heard at least a quarter or half of TPAB. Didn't you read my earlier post saying I've heard 5 tracks off TPAB?
Oh that's right - stans don't read. They skip. Well, I've heard some of TPAB. It sounds
wack as fukk, and the criticisms I've read for it seem 100% legitimate.
I feel like I know enough about Kendrick, having listened to Section 80 and GKMC, and a whole gang of tracks scattered across Overly Dedicated, C4, etc. to give an opinion on his work/style of music. It's not going to magically change for TPAB. In fact, this sounds worse than GKMC off the bat, and I hated that album.
If I get around to listening to this in full, and I see the error of my ways, I will happily admit that. I have no problems admitting when I'm wrong.
I respect that you're saying, "you need to hear the whole album to have a fully educated opinion." That's absolutely true. But that doesn't mean that everything I'm saying is 100% false, especially since I'm familiar with dude's track record and parts of this album.
Don't be dismissive. I can't stand dismissive hip hop fans. Just say, "you have a point. I think you should check out the whole album and let me know if you still feel that way, because you may be surprised."
I'm sure people would be willing to debate the merits of the album with you once you put yourself in a position to make an informed judgement.
You refuse to listen to the album and stay focusing on 'hype' and 'consensus' and 'narratives' so don't tell me everyone else is who's ducking discussing the music itself.
Until you actually are able to come to an informed opinion on the album, you really don't have much productive to contribute here.
EDIT: ah I see
@Dawgs_bruh beat me to it. Good looks
sure they would...
Kendrick fans are notorious for stanning. In fact, they're the most annoying stans in hip hop today. At the end of the day, all they care about is "did you like the album?! Does Tupac like the album?! Is it better than Drake?" That's all they care about.
Yes, my criticisms are mostly against the hype, which I think is perfectly valid. I hate unwarranted hype. It's one of major things that took hip hop into the toilet. So I'm gonna speak out on it. Sorry if your favorite artist benefits from it.
