This album is dope AF. This is a true hip-hop album.

I had to adjust my expectations for this album, mainly because after I heard Kendrick on the Control verse, I expected his album to be him ripping tracks apart like Jay-Z or TI (Trap Muzik) style. What we got was a mixture of Common and NAS.
After listening to this album, now I understand the tracks I and The Blacker the Berry. This is a well put together album.

I wish people would start comparing Kendrick and Drake. It’s not fair to both artists, they have two completely styles and direction and that’s great for hip-hop. I respect both artists for staying in their lane and killing shyt. I fukks with Drake, Kendrick, Nipsey, Dom Kennedy, J. Cole, Curren$y, they all have completely different styles. Hip-Hop is great right now.

People aren't as minuscule as you think when it comes to rap opinions. You can't definitely tell what the large majority of rap fans are feeling and what they are not.

Even with this album, as much as people talk about the brilliance of it and other shyt. There are only 3 songs that are really mentioned on here about the album.

If anyone made this album it would be pegged as mediocre but when you have people hungry for new music from a great artist because his last shyt came out 3 years ago you get this propped up because it has last.

Just wait until the wave of excitement of this album wears off in a week or two.

All this is coming from someone that loves Section 80 and GKMC he just missed a lot on this album and it was all in the effort of trying to be different.
Yes, people aren't miniscule. Note that people is plural. To not be miniscule, you need a lot of people agreeing on the same thing. You cant tell what a large majority of people are feeling unless you ask a large majority of people what they're feling. You talk about 3 songs being mentioned on here. There are 20,000 members on the coli. The album sold 300,000 in it's first week. I'll give you the respect that you can figure out the math in this situation. You don't know how this album would be received if crafted by another artist. You don't know that the album was made in the effort of trying to be different. You feel however you feel about this album. Cool. Why are you trying to talk for other people about why they feel the way they feel about the album?:dahell:

The music on this album is incredible. If you love music you gotta love it. I find myself replaying or humming random tunes or melodies from TPAB at points during the day without even realizing it. :lupe: Then I be like "Oh yea that's that :lawd:

Institutionalized probably my favorite. The chill zoom zoom vibe, Bilal on the hook, beat change, Snoop's verses, Kendricks's lyrics & impressions...shyt is a cluster fukk of dopeness from every angle.
