That last shyt and this post are beyond the realm of reasonable discourse.

I'm ashamed I gave you the time that I did :snoop:

You stalling nikka.

Fukk outta here.

I don't know a single nikka in real life that lost people that would ever be excusing gang violence like you are right now. Suburb azz nikka. You more worried about not looking bad to white people than you are about nikkas that's quick to murder.

It stil don't apply to you because your family hasnt been a victim of Amerikkkan slavery and oppression, and there's no way you're going to convince me otherwise

Tell that to Amadou Diallo.

Would Trayvon be alive if he was Nigerian? How about Jon Crawford? Mike Brown? Exactly..

You sound like a white boy who never stepped foot in the hood. If you did you would know its filled with blacks from every ethnicity from Haitians to Nigerians and you have no idea who is mixed with what half the time.

Equating gang violence to police violence because it's all murder is like...

Equating being gay and being black because it's all discrimination...

There are clearly levels and equating both clearly dilutes the privilege one of those classes has over the other.

IDC who your favorite rapper is. It's not the same.

Tupac-only god can judge me

And they say it's the white man I should fear
But, it's my own kind doin all the killin here

Again, you really need to use context and listen to all the song of the lyrics you post. You realize the name of the song is "Only God Can Judge Me" for a reason right? No one knows a man's true heart or true circumstance. Pac recognizes this and that's why he says "only god can judge" even to the same people who do him wrong. He is also not mad, and states how he "understands" by saying only god can judge, because only god truly knows how good they are. His perception of them is only as real as the circumstances he is allowed to witness them in.

Dear Mama can you save me? And fukk peace
Cause the streets got our babies, we gotta eat
No more hesitation each and every black male's trapped
And they wonder why we suicidal runnin' round strapped

nikka what? :what:

If we talking context then tha same applies to kendrick, he coming from a bangers perspective on that song saying he a hypocrite about mourning a dead brotha (NOT tha circumstances behind it!) and then going and killing one himself

What's the message that these "young dudes should get?
That they should be proud of their blackness, their cultural features, their heritage/culture and to empower themselves in the face of white supremacy, negative stereotypes and institutional racism.

If we as Blacks loved each other and aspire to become a strong people, we should embrace our blackness. Instead you have folk, even in 2015, light skin vs dark skin is an issue, hair texture....I can go on and on.

In my opinion, in those inner cities plagued with gang violence, these young ones out here never had parents that loved them, never taught them about being proud to be black because all they know is that they're slaves and that mentality is passed down to generation - Post traumatic slave syndrome

I appreciate the Black Love he's giving throughout the song. That part is dope

But the overall theme is basically "We're hypocrites because we do fukked up shyt so how can we be upset about white people killing us" which has so many holes in that theory that it's laughable that he thought such an elementary concept was worthy of spewing. The beat is dope the aggression is dope, the black love shyt is dope. But that overall concept irks me and basically tells me he can't differentiate between gang violence and getting killed by a cop or a Cac. Both are sad, but there's main differences. One being, for the former, the perp is usually always arrested, convicted and spends the rest of their lives in prison. The latter are arrested, acquitted and supported and financially backed to the point they can retire.
Agreed. With that said, we need a song to come out that's half this good for a long time. How long have we been waiting for a mainstream type joint to hit the streets in the early 90's.
