Kendrick can't offer any alternatives, he can just offer advice

if you love yourself as a black man put tha guns down and killing another black man is not tha answer

If you listen to wut he saying in his interviews and his new songs it's all about starting tha healing process from within

You have to love yourself as a black man, once you have came to that realization you won't want harm another black man who is a mirror image of yourself

:maybe tha lyrics are too deep for your dumbass to understand?

:mjlol:

You going off topic

as far as kendrick he didn't equate tha two

he is rapping about himself as a banger in compton and saying if he is saddend by a black life being lost (in this example trayvon) then why duz he kill another black man

he never equated tha two

he's saying they are already killing us, why are we killing us too?

you adding stuff that he never said in his lines, not once did kendrick offer any excuses for Trayvons death, yall twisting his shyt up

black on black crime is down, all other races kill each other. us as humans have been killing ourselves since day 1. the fact that kingc00ndrick had the nerve to combine the two in any aspect is ridiculous. defend kingc00ndrick brehs :camby:

It is about me cause I was born here and grew up in the inner city you clown.

And he aint talking to his peers. He is talking to the white fanbase that buys his music. And they will eat up his message cause it mirrors fox news talking points.
It stil don't apply to you because your family hasnt been a victim of Amerikkkan slavery and oppression, and there's no way you're going to convince me otherwise

and again he is talking to his peers idiot, you think he's talking to white people when tha whole song is about black people

Kendrick duznt give a fukk about Fox News talking points, he trying to hollar at his people about wuts on his mind, that's wut Art is

Fox News gon make they same bullshyt talking points REGARDLESS of tha fact that Kendrick dropped a new song

the haters in this post have literally been the same few people over almost this entire thread...Idk if there white or what but somehow I feel like the only way people arent understanding what he did here couldnt understand the culture. People are even quoting tupac saying similar lines kendricks makes almost a whole song talking abouit black pride and nikkas nitpick one line that focuses on his own experience. The ignorance I tell you...yall can do us a favor by just ending the conversation on your last argument is obvious no one is changing their minds. saying the type of shyt these overnight militants would say.

- 3rd verse: while musically it sounds good, the payoff was a letdown cause of that last line and makes me smh....i get what he was saying, but to end the song on that note, just naw....especially after saying 'i'm as black as the heart of an aryan'...

- to touch more on why i disagree with the last line: yes, we (blacks) do need to address shyt in our communities, but just cause we do, doesnt mean that others will all of a suddenly treat us better once we do....that's a pipe dream, they are not a cause/effect...so while we work on our shyt, we still need to call them out on their shyt, but not equate the 2/make them seem tied to each other....which is what kendrick and a lot of the 'new blacks' try to do...

where does he even say this though?....where does he say addressing shyt in our community will make them treat us better?....Somebody tell me, because i'm so confused why people keep inferring this and putting words in the mans mouth...

What about clean your room first so 100% of the focus can be on the house?....make use of the time. How is this not advantageous if you want to achieve a goal?...otherwise it's a stalemate, fighting back and fourth with no resolution.

Say we come to the table unified....it's all on THEM. I feel like then we can get some movement... If you want movement in the right direction.

but that won't MAKE them do shyt...it'll make our fight more potent...

I have had several family members kill/get killed due to gang violence. I would never have the audacity to put police violence in a sentence with them.

how am i going off topic? you said he didnt do what i said, i pointed out how he did....then i elaborated on that more using the interview than the song...my point at the end wasnt talking about kdot specifically, more so what new blacks have been saying...

as for the song: yes, that is what he said...but he wasnt asking the question 'why are we killing us too', he was saying he was a hypocrit for feeling one way while doing the same thing he was feeling that certain way about....which, to me, goes against the 1st and 2nd verses of calling whites out on they shyt, and boils down to some 'black on black crime' type shyt as the payoff to the song....

that's not adding anything to the song, that's taking his words for what they are/what he said and how he said them (the last line in the song, dropping the beat out so you can really hear him clear, etc.) ....and not once did i say he made excuses for trayvon's death...

The two issues are in no way comparable. In no conversation about racist discrimination, should we be talking about black on black crime.

That has been the deflection/justification for centuries. That's what y'all don't get. Regardless of how you feel on each individual issue. They are separate.

That's the fix. They have you idiots repeating centuries old justification for your own mistreatment.

I can look at the two issues separately.....thank you very much. Sounds like you have issues with accountability and responsibility which is odd because you shouldn't feel responsible in the first place. We're talking about people who kill other blacks and for some reason, YOU catching feelings. You on some "but look what they did" type shyt right now......"why I'm getting spanked, they did it too" azz nikka. The whole world knows about the injustices with Mike Brown and Trayvon, so that's a corny argument to make. We already know about that. That don't got nothing to do with the fact that we keep killing each other and for some reason you and others in here have problems when we want to shed light on that. Sounds like an accountability issue really. Like you really sound hurt and upset :damn: because I hate the dumb nikkas out here that's killing thousands of us every year. You really upset about that. It's strange. I can tell you never lost anybody out here because you would NEVER be defending them if you did. I have. Fukk all those nikkas that killing people. I hope they die nikka. They the worst of our community. Get mad. Cuz Imma keep saying it.
