I REALLY feel strongly that Heart Part 5 belongs on this album

About to add it as either the intro or right after Purple Hearts to conclude disc 1

Man I thought he was going to put it on here but it makes sense why he didn’t. Like @Piff Perkins said having Kodak on there basically contradicts what he was saying about the culture on heart 5. Kodak is the literal embodiment of what he was criticizing. The heart Pt 5 wouldn’t have fit on there

having a nip shoutout and dedicated verse on the album and then have Kodak narrate it after the Lauren London fiasco would’ve been a bad look imo

Listened to disk 1 again before heading into disk 2 and I still got nothing from it. Nice features. Cool vibes. Probably won't listen again.

Is this Baby Keem dude just Kendrick-lite or am I tripping?

Through disk 2 - This dude isn't really a rapper anymore. He's in the Post Malone/Jack Harlow lane of "Hip-Hop artist". He has NO BARS all album - not one hot line - not one. This album took him off the 3-headed torch carrier pedestal he was standing on with Drake and Cole. It seems he's reached that stage where he doesn't feel like straight rapping anymore but still wants to do hip-hop themed music.

I enjoyed the features more than the featured artist.

It's not a bad listen overall but I came into this looking for a rap album and perhaps that was my error, I accept that. Judging it as a rap album, it's mid at best, 6/10. I'll try it again in a few weeks with adjusted expectations. I expect my 3rd listening experience will give me a greater appreciation of it.

It's funny because on Spotify after the album plays the heart part 5 plays as well and it sounds like a perfect fit for this album.
