Kendrick doesn’t use ghostwriters, he doesn’t have a secret baby from slipping up with a porno actress, his city actually loves him not just tolerates him, he actually supports and gives back to his BLACK community, he puts on his friends and family not just throwing them in writing camps, he doesn’t wave hop, he’s got more accolades, more acclaim, and more respect from his peers. The only rappers who don’t fukk with Kendrick are Lupe and Jay Elect and both are, frankly because of jealousy and neither would “team up” with Drake to go against him
Not to mention that even though he’s not TDE anymore, Jay Rock and Schoolboy would most definitely crash out on Kendrick’s behalf should it go there. I’m not sure about Soulo’s relationship with Dot these days but the other two would definitely hold him down.
Drake has to literally play this PERFECTLY because Kendrick has done the perfect job of insulating himself from embarrassment and scorn. There’s no personal angle Drake can go, he’d have to just go mano e mano like Nas and Jay before Jay crashed out with Superugly, matter of fact I hope Drake studies that battle since he's always wanted to be the next generation’s Hov and see exactly where Jay fukked up and lost that battle as soon as he tried to go “personal” with an MC who had been anointed as the best since his first album dropped. There are a lot of parallels there that i’m sure Drake wishes to avoid
