"Ay nikka, I think it's somebody in this room" :mjpls:

"Wait, what?" :what:

"nikka, it's somebody IN THIS ROOM!" :damn:

:russ:

lol I’m glad this thread got bumped. For some reason this post always comes to my mind when I think of this album. shyt was too hilarious to me for some reason. Crazy that it’s been 10 years and I remember this and the fact that it’s been a decade since the album dropped.

documentary ushered the west back, not this. Kendrick would admit that himself

Yeah for the mid 2000’s :russ: After that album ran its course/Game been ostracized from G-Unit and the brief mainstream exposure the Bay Area’s Hyphy scene for a few months in 2006, the West Coast was dead asf for the remainder of the 2000s all the way til 2011/2012 my guy. This current West Coast movement don’t even resemble The Documentary era at all, it’s more of a byproduct of GKMC, My Krazy Life, Hotel California, The OF Tape, From The Westside With Love and Crenshaw as opposed to Game’s debut.

Overrated corny shyt
I knew this dude would pop up again. Decade later and you still wrong lmao. A great sign of being a troll/bad poster: not being to admit you’re wrong or objectively view things. GKMC is an undeniable classic at this point, and has lasted on the billboard 200 longer than any rap album…ever. Of all time. At what point do you just wave your hands and said you don’t like it but clearly everyone else does and it’s a classic?

For real, when Kendrick got his appreciation, right after J. Cole, I was :gladbron: when lyrical rap was mainstream again. For a short time, until *certain* forces shoved down the (then) new Drill Rap and autotune.

Forced so many rappers to step their game up :wow: Hardly any other album has done something like that since.

Why can't I honestly feel like that? Do you have a clue as to why I feel like that?
