In 2012 you said this album wasn't a classic and Kendrick would be irrelevant 5 years after it came out. You're still hating 8 years later?
:mjlol:

Breh just a hater. I'd imagine 2017 was a very difficult year for him. Seeing Kendrick with multiple radio hits and a sold out worldwide arena tour, 5 years after claiming he'd be irrelevant soon...must have been hard for breh to deal with it.

And 2021 gonna be a tough year for him too... :mjlol:

Almost a decade later and you still mad.

Nevermind the album ushering the west back in huh. Nevermind the album reigniting the debate/discussion over "classic" albums that still resonate to this day huh.

documentary ushered the west back, not this. Kendrick would admit that himself

Hold on. Everyone acknowledges the west was completely dead a few years after that album. It's a fact. The west didn't truly return until they stopped trying to re-create Chronic 2001, which is when you saw the new west movement. Nip, Dom, Old Future, TDE, etc. And out of all of them, Kendrick was the first to get a big mainstream album. TDE knocked that door and suddenly the budgets started increasing for the west again.

Game brought the west back. That's a fact. You're missing the fukking point. The Documentary came out in 2005. Literally 3-4 years later the west was dead. There was no movement, everything was based entirely on re-creating Chronic 2001 beats. Aftermath was trying/failing to spark Bishop Lamont. Dudes were crying that Dre and Snoop weren't helping the new artists.

The west was a joke until brehs stopping praying for Dre to save them and started making new sounds That's a fact. Fast forward to 2012 shyt was selling again. Then you had YG and Mustard going crazy. Etc.
