as a drake fan I have no problem to admit kendrick does everything better than Drake. You might be convinced by one more than the other, but thats mostly because you don't put all bias aside.

You don't know enough about writing for me to even break it down for you.

All I can say is you have to know how to seperate vocal ability from the writing.

Drake could make a song about his love of Reuben sandwiches and the tones in his voice will make it sound like it has depth and conviction. But the content isn't there because even though he says it well, he isn't saying anything.

He's very good at that.

But as far as the writing goes, it's a landslide for Kendrick. Not close. Won't ever be.

Drake is vocally speaking, one of the greats to ever do it.

Breh, you can't see me on analyzing any type of writing.

The most important question is the function of rap. I know most of you have never thought about that in-depth.

Pretty much all of the top rappers....besides Kendrick....have the ability to get introspective and not veer off into heavy doses of fiction. It is what it is.

This is one of the most varied, musically adventuring (psychedelic soul from the 60s, etc) albums I have heard in hip hop...and everything was well executed

How does he do that, dude knows music better than some already established goat musicians

This was a lot better around the second listen than the first, it is an 8/10.

Definitely enjoying more on the 2nd listen as well.
