What are you talking about?
You think asking the Spurs to take on a horrible contract and give up a superstar to a conference rival isn't hard ball?

:heh:

You're not the brightest, breh, but no, it's not "hardball" when you are getting back at least two pieces that make for a young core that keeps you competitive while you rebuild.

Spurs aren't in it to win it, and they have no leverage. Teams are likely low balling em like crazy. Who knows what Kawhis agent is telling other teams as well

fukk that. The Spurs would get infinite respect from anyone who's not a Lakers fan if they just benched Kawhi and gave the finger to the Lakers.

So again....

Which one is it? There's either urgency to get Kawhi immediately or there isn't.
And if there's incredible urgency to get him...why are the Lakers so intent on keeping Ingram and Kuzma?

Like I said earlier....it can't be both.

Basically, the Spurs are desperate, the Lakers are now desperate as of today, and so they need each other. The Spurs need young pieces to develop into stars, they won't be winning anything anytime in the next few years, and they can take on a bad contract. The Lakers need Kawhi so they can immediately get to challenging the Warriors in the West.

They are trade partners who right now are made for one another. They'll figure it out.

So if there's no leverage on the Spurs part...why are the Lakers seemingly so adamant that Kawhi be traded now?

This is what you goofballs can't understand.
Either the Lakers are hungry to win immediatley and acquire Kawhi now...which means the Spurs DO have leverage.
Or the Spurs have none, so fukk it....just wait it out.

For the 4th time in the last hour...it can't be both.

How are the Lakers desperate? Bron just signed for 4 years. There's no pressure.

Bron just gave Magic and Rob the green light to take their time.

You dumb or just trolling?

I've consistently said that there is urgency to get him, at least if Magic isn't planning on wasting one of LeBron's few remaining superstar seasons, and I don't give a shyt what SAS is saying, but I doubt Magic wants to do that.

Because Bron turns 34 next year and not 24? He signed for four years, and it's likely that the Lakers get two years of superstar play out of Bron. He's not going to be what he is now at 36/37, and damn sure not at 37/38.

If there's urgency to get him, it means the Spurs have some measure of leverage and they're not going to take on Deng's contract as part of it.
Are you really this stupid?

Goddamn, you're dumb.

But the Spurs don't have that much leverage either, because Kawhi doesn't want to play for them, has shown that he doesn't want to play for them, was cool with sitting out games, in fact, and they want to get return for him as their amount of time with club control over him evaporates with each day.

I mean, you are real fukking stupid. Jesus Christ.

:mjlol: at the thought of him just sitting out the season after his camp was claiming he's 100%. It's a pissing contest now, Spurs would go to the league & they would have a league doctor look at him. Leonard couldn't try that shyt again after how things have played out unless he is the dumbest person alive.

He’s about to turn 34, he’s not waiting a year
he gonna back out the deal and damage his "brand"? He don't have a choice in the matter. Despite what he thinks the world doesn't revolve around LeBron. Spurs would be absolute fools to trade him.

Again....you think you can have it both ways.
Somehow the Spurs have no leverage with a team you claim is dying to win immediately.

Very Retarded Tripper
