The NHL and NFL are moving those games (time and place) because they were being played in LA, not because people are taking leaves of absence.

Take his history into account. Also, I'm pretty certain there are other athletes who play in the L.A. area in basketball, football, and hockey. Why is Kawhi the only athlete we have heard about doing this?

I'm sure he won't be the only one, but him barely playing the past few seasons doesn't pair well with this. Bad timing but it is what it is.
