Yeah that’s the main reason why I’m not being too harsh about. I get why people reacting the way they are but I can’t imagine your family memories being erased like that. More so for someone that worked hard to get him and his family to a better place in life just for the world to show you that all the money in the world can’t protect those things that are most precious.
From his kids to his most meaningful memories be it old memorabilia from his playing days or things of his father’s like someone mentioned. It’s fukked up actually, I’d be hurt if I lost old photos and heirlooms from family members and friends that passed away. I know his absences have long ago crossed into the realm of the fugazi but in this situation I can’t fault someone for how they react to trauma. Plus, we already know Kawhi ain’t like most pro athletes so maybe his reaction is actually more consistent with him marching to the beat of his own drum like @FTBS alluded to. So just as I’m not surprised by people reacting negatively to this, we should also not be at all surprised that Kawhi is doing this and don’t give a fukk what none of us think about it.
