but also this was a traumatizing event so its understandable to remember all relevant things. the night one of my family died almost ten years ago i remember the exact song i was listening to at the time the police told us she was killed

My very best friend was killed in 2002, I remember almost every single detail of what happened. 16 years later. I know names, faces, who said what, what I wore, what he wore, what car I owned during that time, how his face looked, how I felt when I got the hospital because it traumatized me. I remember everything.
