That’s cool and all until it comes playoff time and he comes up short when needed and that humor turns to slander.

I guess my question is what do Knicks fans expect him to do offensively when it matters most when he’s struggled to show it in the playoffs at times.

All he has to do is not be all-time awful like Randle was in the postseason and that will be a plus.

The expectations of KAT is kind of confusing.

He’s essentially here to replace Hartenstein moreso than Randle.

The team is very clearly being built around Brunson and whoever else gets the crumbs, knock yourself out. The biggest thing will be exploring more of Karl’s passing and opening up that side of the game ala Noah with the Bulls. If we do that this team will be unstoppable.

he's not a bad passer, but he thinks he's Luka Doncic when he passes.

His best quality was that he looked out for the Frenchman when not even the star player wanted to offensively. That's great news for Mitch. If anyone's gonna throw easy lobs or passes to Robinson or even Sims, KAT can do that. Where KAT screws up is when he wants to turn a bounce pass to a cutting wing player into a no look pass over the head That's when turnovers happen. Those are his 2 main turnover problems: doing that shyt and offensive fouls. Besides that, he's super careful with the rock, even with his awkward ass dribble drive.

In the Shannon Sharp interview he asked Kat about Thibs and KAT showed love and gave Thibs respect....I kinda take it with a grain of salt tho because he gave political answers about his issues with Jimmy and who won in the Drake vs Kendrick beef lmao. KAT is definitely media trained

Shannon also asked KAT if he wouldve taken a 100m paycut like Brunson did to stay in Minnesota...he gave a positive answer like "lets get everyone on the same page and talk about it " then the nikka got shipped out days later I felt bad bc u could tell he believes the Twolves were close to reaching the title and wanted to run it back.

Yeah the more I look at it, the more it's clear that Knicks took a clear W on this trade.

Randle is an expiring contract who would be whining about his minutes, trying to boost his stats for some sucker ass team to pay him lucrative contract. Now he's Minnesota's problem.

Knicks are getting a very talented player in return, who has guaranteed few years on his contract. And all it cost them was giving Donte away.

If we take out Randle, since he was irrelevant to their playoff run this year. The Knicks pretty much gave away Hartenstein/Donte and got in return KAT/Mikal Bridges. That's a damn good return I'd say lol.

This trade is OKC 2012 letting James Harden go all over again. Cheap ownership saving money.

Like when James Harden did well in the western conference playoffs, but looked bad in the finals and somehow those Thunder idiots decided to let him go and keep bums like Kendrick Perkins, who absorbed two nasty poster dunks same year, he should've been kicked off the team because of that.

This is glen taylor move no doubt, he's ruined Timberwolves for decades now. They are a loser franchise and it takes more years for them to figure things out. Wemby has Duncan, Robinson, Manu, Popovich to talk to. I'm sure Tony gave him some good advice in France. Who did KAT and Edwards have to talk to in Minnesota? Nobody. They all figuring out and they already beat the defending champs this year...why not run it back with the same squad?

Randle has one year left and a player option for 25-26, most likely he's turning down the player option and signing lucrative contract some place. So a still young team is getting one year rental of Randle and whatever years DiVincenzo has left on his contract. Like Donte is good, but I need to remind folks that Bucks won their championship without his services, when he was injured. He's not a must have player that you would trade your star player for.

Timberwolves have just gone one tier below the SGA's Thunder, Denver Nuggets and Dallas Mavericks.
