I hope her son becomes a powerful politician or businessmen or something...

He probably will have the funds... Plus the 'hustling mentality' in his up bringing. Plus he will grow up with thick skin from all the jokes...

ive never even heard of that, ive just read a book about the caribbean history a few months and it said nothing about wealthy blacks, blacks did get power and some wealth but it was only after independence when they got control of the politics of the different islands

but brother @Serious can speak on this
I'll look into this later but @7Revo can speak better on carribean history than me...

like i'd even entertain a discussion, much less an argument, on the history of slavery and her ancestry with a chick called superhead. :heh: the conversations of her past with her son must be cringe worthy to say the least...

son: *googles mom* hundreds of dikks tho ma??? :damn: .... you kissed me with that mouth :to:
superhead: ...but son, all those dikks were for you. so you could have a better life... :troll:

son: ...:scusthov:....:sadbron:

In the US Virgin Islands its mainly full of blacks. Yes the black people there aren't too wealthy but still enough to say that a majority of them control the island.

Other races are there but they mostly have Puerto Ricans or Dominicans and most white people you will see stay in the tourist section.

lol, i looked it up in wikipedia and it says she's from st thomas, :pachaha: ive been there, its an american territory, its probably the most americanized caribbean island, and it has the same racial issues as in america combined with the racial issues of the caribbean, on top of that all the black people on the island descended from slaves

so im not sure what on earth she is talking about, the notion that a black person in the caribbean has no slave ancestor is just :dahell:
Blacks have more value there than here in the US.

Racism is barely existent and most nonblacks either get along with black people or go further and flock to the carribean black culture.

Doesn't matter if your white, dominican or even Arabic, you either get along with black people or gtfo.

that isnt what i saw there or in any Caribbean islands ive been to, in most islands blacks have the political power and non blacks own most business aka economic power, and that is what i saw in st thomas

but i understand the racial culture is different, but its not different enough that you can say the caribbean is racism free or barely existent, you may want to modify that statement, that is quite a bold statement there buddy

but i dont have a problem with her saying she isnt african american, that's sort of valid, (not really but its not that serious) but its the part about slave ancestors that is weird

I've lived on St Croix basically my whole life and been to St Thomas many times.

The only ones competing for businesses on the US Virgin islands are Black people for most areas and Arabs for smaller ones like gas stations as such.

Racism is rare here thanks to the high black population and control. The islands are small so any news will be passed along the islands especially something like racism and for my whole life I've been there and haven't seen or heard any racist experiences other than one time some person who lived in St. John had one.

I'm not talking about the whole Carribean I'm talking about the 3 islands of the US Virgin Islands in which St. Thomas is apart of.

Well white people are mainly in the tourist section.

When you leave the tourist section and see the actual owners of various stores out of the tourist section they are mainly Black and Arab.

yeah, so in other words the biggest part of the economy, tourism, is controlled by white people

So we gonna act like the high amount of black businesses all over the island are nothing?

im not saying its nothing and i believe you about there being less discrimination and i think black people control the government but in st thomas the bulk of the economy is controlled by non black people

Actually the bulk of the economy is based on the refinery of Hess full of both blacks and whites.
