I think it’s clear we not getting MBDTF and earlier ye anymore which is fine. Even with that, it’s dope to listen to this album and hear how Yeezus, TLOP, and JIK influenced this in different ways.

Ain’t my favorite ye album obviously but it’s a solid entry for sure.

On first listen this album is not that bad. It’s better than his previous two albums so that was a surprise to me. He didn’t have to make it 26 songs but maybe there’s a deeper understanding I missed for that.

Some songs that stood out were:

-Jesus Lord (Jay electronica snapped)
-Jesus Lord pt 2 (Shoutout to the Lox)
-Off the Grid
-Hurricane (lil baby had a nice verse)
-Heaven and Hell
-Pure souls (Kanye spazzed on this one)


Some disappointments were

-The length of this album
-Greislda didn’t need to be on the album
-Jay z wasn’t really that good
