If black millionaires got together and tried to get some real manufacturing power in this country, the Obama administration (ran by kaks/k!kes) would find plenty of ways through federal regulations to ''justify'' shutting them down. There would be articles and news reports written in liberal media that would also have coli-koon-liberal-elite, saying things like, ''well if they just would have complied with the WTO's global standards, as it pertains to goat leather, none of this would be happening'' . . . I could see a douchbag like @Mephistopheles saying something along those lines. . .

My point is the current laws we have on the books can be used on any entity at any time to shut them down. Black folks united would feel the brunt of this, the hardest and swiftest if we were to collectivize and pool our resources.

The solution? Get into positions of power in government, and NEVER enforce ridiculous laws upon your own people in their endeavors. Easier said than done, I know.
Meta Reign, sorry about that neg. You are still a fakkit, but I didn't mean to neg you. I thought you were someone else.

As for Kanye, I feel for him in the way that he is realizing his true position, and it's as another poster said. . . He's just a glorified consumer. He DESPERATELY wants to become the obscure LLC that signs the checks of folks in Hollywood and the music industry. He DESPERATELY wants to become the obscure LLC or CORP that ULTRA-RICH families hide behind as the largest shareholders of banks and insurance companies. . .

There's a strict ''no n!ggas'' policy in that life.

He also doesn't understand that the creative aspect of music is largely controlled as well. You think these people that control music want to have n!gga at the head that might actually allow a positive message to come from music?. . . Hell no. Sh!t even modern art was financed by the Rockefellers as a distraction to the highly charged and rebellious political art that was gaining influence. Now, art is considered some lady, knitting a scarf out of her menstruating vagina (it's on worldstarhiphop)

Racism is def still alive today, but money is money and whoever can generate it will be embraced by someone. There's a "no new money" rule, and Kanye is new money. He truly believes that being a very successful rap artist made him a part of the global elite and now he's in the process of finding out he was just some billionaire's tax write off. He doesn't just want his foot in the door of these power circles, he wants to own the whole building right out the gate. His influence can definitely get him in the door, but he's gona have to check his ego and be a team player. Then with some humility and hard work he can begin to climb that social and economic ladder some more.

Personally I'd rather see him stick to his morals, become more disciplined and less erratic, and start building some real soulful businesses from the ground up that shun the faceless corporate way of doing business and serve a real purpose in underprivileged communities. That would really earn him the legacy he desires so badly of being a genius and a hero. Can't see it happening though.

Kanye's trying to be at Jay and Puff's level and he doesn't realize, or thinks he can avoid, the way they play ball with these billionaire big wigs. Kanye wants artistic integrity and to be a billionaire and he wants them both tomorrow, and when he encounters any kind of road block his response is to throw a tantrum and insult whoever presents the road block. He can have both, he just needs to play nice behind the scenes with these people, they'll let him put on whatever act he wants to the general public.

What better way to woo venture capitalists, many of whom are libertarian "I got mine" a$$holes, than to go on rants about how people aren't giving you a handout :troll:

Kanye is about 3 months away from saying or doing something he can't walk away from. The stage is set brehs, now we wait.

Venture capitalists are pretty good at what they do, but you gotta win them over with your presentation. They'll looking at the head of the snake, trying to see if they should back it. If the head/CEO/founder/etc doesn't have all his marbles in straight, or can't have a coherent conversation on ONE topic, or can't demonstrate why his idea has adequate supply demand potential...it's a wrap. Game over.

kanye is delusional
secondly, venture capitalist are vultures
he has no enough money where he doesn't need anyone
the fact he lost 13 million dollars shows he just doesn't know what he's doing, and he basically wants somebody who does to do everything for him
but nobody is going to do that

secondly is a lot c00n shyt going on in this thread, can't no white man stop you from doing nothing, if you believe that shyt you already lost
lastly can has enough money to become a billionaire this year if you invested in shyt worth something instead of some bullshyt fashion
that these billionaires more than likely lose money on for the most part, which is something he can't afford to do

Can't feel bad for this dude.

Hundreds of people have started companies and turned them into billion dollar corporations and all those people had way less resources than Kanye.

Fukk him.

I wonder if someone gives him an offer, what percentage of the company they're going to ask for.

From what i've read, business cout d'etat are fairly common. All of these billionaire have had to fight that off.

I don't think Kanye realizes that he's set the stage to get the rug pulled from under him. I can easily see him getting run out of his own company. He's already shown time and time again that he's not mentally stable enough to be the "head." Once Donda gets enough market share where its running off of its own steam and not Ye's, its o-vay.

nah. wooing a venture capitalist over isn't that difficult, if you have an idea that's worth pitching. they make a living off of gut feelings, off of looking at an idea or concept and asking themselves if it can be made into a profitable business. they clearly look at kanye's whimsical fantasy of being some creative mogul and think to themselves :heh:

DONDA? named after his mother, right? that's deep. really. i mean, there just doesn't seem to be any actual thought applied to the development of this "business." it's just a vanity project from a whiny artist whose opinion of himself is hilariously overblown and well outside what more relevant movers in this economy of ours think. i used to defend kanye, even after the creatively risky yeezus. but i just can't anymore. this isn't the same kanye who gave us college dropout, late registration, and graduation - a consecutively released trifecta of dopeness. he's starting to lose people who used to ride for him. you're not jay-z, ye. play your position.

Fukk him.

This is not any company breh...this is the high end fashion industry...its a completely different beast and he was shown that its not easy at all. If he was talking about opening up a whole bunch of dunkin donuts and subway franchises then that would be easy. The only resource Kanye has is money, but that cannot buy you connections needed to be successful in the industry.

Imagine if you wanted to create your own video game console. You have the money but chip makers won't fukk with you, major electronic plants that can pump out millions of units a year won't fukk with you. This all because they have agreed that they will only work with nintendo and sony. Microsoft enters into the market with ease because they already do other business with these chip makers and factories to build computers and they are going to pay them a billion dollars up from to make it happen. So basically its silly to compete with big time companies that have been in the game for a long time, unless you have the financial backing to go at them toe to toe.

He needs...

- Access to raw materials at a bargain price
- Talented designers, their tools and machines, along with the maintenance.
- Access to factories, plants, shipping lines at bargain price
- Fashion media (print media, magazines, television, internet, etc.)
- Access to runways which cost a lot of money,
- Pay models, make up artists, stagers, etc.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg. He might want to stop and be happy he just lost only $13 million :whew:
