And this might just be adding to the pile of depressing stuff, but I think this underplays the severity of Republicans moving toward outright authoritarianism and fascism by rallying around a burgeoning crypto-fascist. Make no mistake, though; I hate the political convenience of liberals cozying up to neocons like dikk Cheney too, especially when it comes to foreign policy in the Global South. Principles are why I just can't help but care, even if I dislike how liberals have drifted rightward on war. It's a binary choice after all.

Wars in the middle east.
Roe v. Wade ratified.
No real healthcare option.

Black only policies aren't viable and don't work because they violate the constitution, so they can be sued out of existence.

This is my issue. There is a big difference between an entertainer, rapper, celebrity, athlete and a scammer.

While those other people you listed may be problematic they have not sought money from the black community on a promise and not delivered Umar has been saying since 2010 that he is going to open a school and asked for money. It is now 2024

There really is no difference. Umar is a scammer but he’s on point when it comes to speaking on black empowerment and a black agenda.

The aforementioned entertainers are not “scammers” but they don’t know shyt about politics.

She shouldn’t be speaking with any one of them. They want to reach the black community so they reach out to scammers and entertainers
