One of Kamala’s most touted (only?) accomplishment as VP was being the controlling vote of the senate a record number of times. Biden ended the expanded child tax credit. Now they are running on the same thing. Why are you under the impression dems actually want to pass this stuff? There will simply be another scapegoat

The republicans don’t even attempt to pass bills what’s there to have smoke about the dems had 2 years to pass thru their legislative agenda the Biden administration ran on, and much of the red meat they dangled didn’t amount to shyt. Economy 101 supply and demand raise the minumum wage to 20 dollars an hour to flip burgers and see if a migrant doesn't take the job.

My ex used to work for an immigrant owned seafood restaurant on Ditmars Ave that was staffed entirely by illegals.

She was in the country legally as a summer camp counselor She paid 1600 dollars to make 1800 bucks for two months *because yes some immigrants literally PAY to get jobs here and she did that so that she could work off the books for two months at the restaurant for the illegal wage of 9 dollars an hour.

That was the most money that she made in her life, she made more than her sister who is a lawyer in her country.

She used that money to make a down payment on the house that she bought she will work for a cruise ship so she got another visa and she got a Tourist visa. She's not planning on working in Colombia ever again she will make way more money working part of the year in the states and chill the rest of the time in Colombia.
