The Reperations crowd always has been weird to me. If you’re gonna give reparations to anyone in that context, give it to those who survived and lived through the Jim Crow laws.

Put a birth year that if you lived before this time period you can get X.. this talk of widespread reparations from slavery is stupid because it will never happen

This is coming from someone who can trace my ancestors to a Louisiana plantation
Whats always funny to me is that every black politician knows they’d lose office if they support reparations and that no activist who supports reparations would ever run for office themselves supporting reparations

trump and vance are sowing the seeds of removing citizenship from black americans.

pressing kamala harris for reparations, with less than two months before election night and polls continuing to swing in her favor, is the last thing on my mind.

They don't care. Latinos are already well ahead of the black population. Another 10-20 million and they'll probably be double the black population not including kids they have. So they won't see the black vote as relevant.

Black folks trying to say they are lying about the numbers don't go to all of these little small towns where latinos have put roots in and white folks are happily living beside them without any argument. But let a few Haitians come in, it's a different story.
Latinos are just tanned white people

Black people have more value than Latinos and contribute more to society than Latinos. The average Latino quality of life is very low in the USA especially undocumented ones. Latinos are not a threat to anyone except themselves (most Border Patrol agents are Latinos)

Is that the precedent going forward for anything involving race? What about laws in place about discrimination cause of race? Could that possibly be ended in the future or is it different for laws?

Yes is the answer to your first question. To your second question, race based discrimination is the loophole Republicans are using to deny black people benefits.

They successfully argued in courts that Affirmative Action, money to black farmers, grants to black businesses, African American scholarships, basically any benefit that is specifically for black people only, discriminates against non-black people. In short, if white people can't benefit from it too, then it's unconstitutional/illegal.

That is why many are saying reparations would be dead on arrival.

most black men fear but scared to admit that whites will get violent if they get reparations. white men are not gonna give up there grip on this country without bloodshed. all this come together stuff is bullshyt. when trump lost and they stormed the capital shows u that its still on.....a lil preview of whats gonna happen and that wasnt even about black people. believe it or not...alot of these mass shootings have been lowkey WS terrorist protest to show that they are not happy with this country.

if blackmen do ever come together worldwide i guarantee its gonna be something like ww3. nikkas need to get it through they head that these people dont like u...they hate blackmen specifically, because they are threat to the power structure.

Nah, I’m talking about race-based policies benefitting a particular race. It must pass the strict scrutiny test to make it constitutional. The court rule last year that race-based admission policies no longer pass the strict scrutiny test. So now other race-based programs are similarly being shot down. Schools and businesses now have to shift their DEI policies so that it doesn’t mention race. shyt’s crazy, but that’s the Supreme Court we have now.

Has either candidate taken a clear articulated position on ANYTHING :why:
I wish the debate would have pushed Kamala to explain how she's going to implement some of the ideas from her platform like the grocery pricing stuff and the housing stuff

Anyway, back to reparations....it's getting to the point that ADOS Democratic voters are saying asking this question is disingenuous and an attempt to ruin the election for Democrats. If we're at that point where it's basically zero pressure on Democrats to even engage the topic then it's probably time to move on to another plan that they might actually consider. Like asking her for specifics around the stuff she's actually willing to speak about
yes they have, both candidates are insuring Americans that they will protect our great nation of Israel
