So y'all want a blue congress, blue supreme Court before we should press for reparations?

Even when Democrats individually showed you they don't favor reparations?

This kicking the can down the street is a scared Negro tactic and makes 0 sense.

They always show their colors.
It's about nothing but voting blue no matter who.
A lot of agents on here.

Kamala is about to be the 47th president and that's going to happen without her having to pander to the reparations crowd.

Also, I don't know what question was actually asked before Kamala made that statement because of the edit job so no one can properly respond to that video without full context. But watch people in here still do it. Just watch.

:patrice:

But everything I said was facts not an opinion. I'm not speaking from emotions like you are. You're shooting the messenger because you hate the message. But the message is all facts.

The point is you're not getting reparations. When is it going to click? Find another demand. Why is it reparations or bust?
Just wanted to make sure your position is clear.

You don't believe black people should receive reparations for the horrors and injustice of chattel slavery. At least we know now.

People who don't directly answer the question before talking through relevant and irrelevant streams of thought need to tell you all you gotta know.
Because saying it out loud is a cheat code for losing the election. :yeshrug:

The majority doesn't agree with it yet. The majority doesn't even understand the logistics of it yet. Hell, the people asking for it haven't even agreed on the logistics yet.

Evangelicals had a simple, clear request: Overturn Roe. Despite that it took them decades. And every single one of their nominees and judges said "I will not overturn Roe" with a wink and a nudge. They still voted because they knew their guy was more convincible, or was just trying to make the pro-choice crowd shutup. It worked.

With that said, I genuinely don't get the vibe that Harris is convincible on anything but policy that disproportionately improves the lives of minorities. Which isn't perfect...

I believe in some form of action to repair the harm, but I'm a pragmatist first.

Reparations will never passed with a 6-3 republican Supreme Court

And if trump get in u should dead that conversation because he will replace alito and thomas with 2 more younger judges and for the next 30 ,40 years nikkas will continue to blame whoever on the left for reparations

Even some on the left like here in California be like :whoa:

Why didn't reparations pass in California? Gavin Newsome and the whole California Supreme Court is Democrats

Patricia Guerrero Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of California is a Democrat

Associate Justice Carol A. Corrigan of California is a Indeterminate

Associate Justice Goodwin H. Liu of California is a Strong Democrat

Associate Justice Leondra R. Kruger of California is a Mild Democrat

Associate Justice Joshua P. Groban of California is Strong Democrat

Associate Justice Martin J. Jenkins of California is a Democrat

Justice Kelli M. Evans Of California is a Democrat

Has either candidate taken a clear articulated position on ANYTHING :why:
I wish the debate would have pushed Kamala to explain how she's going to implement some of the ideas from her platform like the grocery pricing stuff and the housing stuff

Anyway, back to reparations....it's getting to the point that ADOS Democratic voters are saying asking this question is disingenuous and an attempt to ruin the election for Democrats. If we're at that point where it's basically zero pressure on Democrats to even engage the topic then it's probably time to move on to another plan that they might actually consider. Like asking her for specifics around the stuff she's actually willing to speak about

Not saying it at all is a way to lose the election too.
The majority didn't understand civil rights either, see the benefits.

And it's still minorities who were not involved in the movement that allowed them to benefit from affirmative action that worked to strike it down.

Even if it is not a popular topic for her, she could have at least addressed the question without being evasive.
Because it's dismissive. That's pragmatic, that's showing respect. Respect ain't pragmatics?

But... this a society where everyone who is not black can benefit from blackness more than black people.
And some black people are okay with that, and that must be addressed... for pragmatics.

Since we talking pragmatics.
Where are our local black professionals to organize a groundswell consensus among black people to be a stronger political, social and economic presence election or not?

We gotta stop being so understanding that strategy since the end of the CRM been causin' us to lose ground.

Well maybe you can focus on that when she runs for the 2nd term because her winning the first term is already locked in and has been confirmed without her having to pander to the reparations crowd. Kamala told America her stance on reparations in 2019 and for some reason some of yall really thought she was gonna budge by 2024 yet she hasn't and is about to become the president without changing her stance on the topic.

he will say no, just like kamala is saying.

what is yalls point? that they're the same or that black people shouldnt get reparations
I think the point is that no American politician will offer us reparations. That forming a political stance over something that will not happen is a foolish venture.

Or can keep hedging our bets on racist whites giving us money.:yeshrug:
