Usher now makes dance music... Trey makes crude rnb/rap...Chris Breezy....is Chris Breezy...guess Im have to listen to Robin Thicke to get some decent RnB :wtf: say it aint so

Both Trey and Chris, Dropped good R&B albums.

Yall stay judging R&B artist by their singles.

Usher should drop an all ballad love song album. That shyt would do numbers and put him where he needs to be. He needs to show that he's on another level. Now, it seems like he's trying to compete with these new dudes.

No it wouldn't, That's basically what Here I stand is, but yall fronted.

The only good songs on that album......album was not that good at all....

"Love you gently" is better then every song you named.

"Something Special" is traditional Ballad R&B as it gets

"love in the club" is a smooth as first single, that I never see anyone complain about until now.

Justin Timberlake was smart with this new release by not changing his sound. Unlike Usher who completely changed his sound in between Confession and Here I Stand.

Usher should have understood the rule of, "If it ain't broke, then don't fix it". Usher have completely lost me with the shyttt he put out now.:trash::snoop:

Ehh, he really didnt change his sound too much between htose two albums you listed. The sound of R&B changed a little bit during that time so it was natural. Here I Stand had some really great R&B cuts on there. "Love in this Cliub" was wack tho...the remix was fire....and "Moving Mountains" was a lil off putting b/c he tried to jump on the Dream stuff, but the rest of the album was good.

But the real change has come in his last two albums, "Raymond vs Raymond" and that "Finding Myself" :scusthov:

But I've always said that Usher is one of only a few artists who does NOT need to change his style to "fit in" He should be a trendsetter, instead he's turned into a follower. :snoop:

Usher's music been :flabbynsick: for a minute

Jimmy Jam/Terry Lewis & JD had this dude on
:fire:

No he's just :trash:

proves that behind most of these music stars is a greater producer/songwriter

I came in here to say this. :myman:

JJ & TL are responisble for many of his best songs, even if they weren't his biggest hits.

The only 2 tracks I messed with from Raymond vsRaymond were "Mars vs Venus", and "Pro Lover"....BOTH of which are JJ & TL headed songs. The AvilaBrothers wrote them though. Those dudes are really good with Usher.

I saw an interview about that album with JJ & TL and the Avila brothers and they were like, "Yeah, Usher can mess with these other producers/writers.....but he knows where home really is"

UHHH chris brown in worse shape than JT and usher. He making the same garbage can type of music as usher, but he cant fall back on his voice or his cache of prior good music. Plus CACs hate that nikkas guts. Name his last hit

CB messed up

He cant really go back to making great pop/r&b songs like this. He had to rebuild himself and his image to even do it in the first place. Now songs like that dont fit his image anymore.

Chris Brown - She Ain't You - YouTube

Chris Brown should have build off this sound and style. The old Ginuwine style. Best Chris Brown song IMO.

Usher's current sound is not pop...That's the bottom line.

But his current singles on the radio are quality records, not hit records......

J.T. is overrated but is a true pop star with a strong fan base, but check it, he has no timeless hits....

NONE
:usure: Until The End Of Time

even made Beyonce hop on that bytch :myman:
