I like this show because Raylan catches Ls. He ain't on some Superman shyt.
I think it was season 2 when he got his ass whupped and they stole his hat. His girl was like
"ain't you too old to be fighting?".

This is a good look for "The Wire". "Breaking Bad" is kinda impossible to avoid right now but "The Wire" almost got cancelled several times during it's run, never won any awards, and wasn't even nominated most of the time. "Family Guy" name dropping the show is huge.

I agree....just thought it was funny cause I have a couple guys at work who always give me shyt for talking about and trying to put them on to The Wire. Plus, in episodes I recently watched of HIMYM and Happy Endings in the last couple day they both had jokes name dropping The Wire.

Also back in the day Stephen King used to rave about "The Wire", before it really blew up.
