You're saying justice league should do crazy numbers just cause of all the popular heroes. It doesn't work like that (comic sales also) when you have a bad reputation. Movie goers gave them their money and was fooled so a lot wasn't trying it again. That defenders is another (small) example and no I'm not comparing defenders to justice league

No disrespect but JL grossing less than Antman, Doctor Strange or Thor is a fukking disaster.

DC never even stood a chance in the movie race. They relied way to heavy on their Batman films. They should have tried their best to keep Christian Bales and incorporate the Dark Knight universe into the DC cinema universe. At least they could have made big bucks there.


But none of this matters because its over for them. DC characters just don't translate well on the big screen. Animated movies and TV shows? Sure. Big blockbuster live action films? Forget about it.

I mean it's embarrassing at this point. Green Lantern terrible...Superman Returns awful, BVS wack....Wonder Woman was good and MOS was good popcorn but this studio is clueless

People can try to spin this as much as possible. But this is awful. If they were smart they would counter the Marvel TV mature content setup and partner with Amazon and maybe do a live action Teen Titans or add Hush or Jason Todd.

Go all out and do rated R. A Nightwing series would be great. Smaller, lower budget. Hell give Amell a shot at a movie at this point. Something small budget, lowkey and niche.

Time to get back some credibility.
