Red Son isn't in continuity so you can watch that whenever. They're not crucial but Hush and WW:Bloodlines would be next before finishing with JL Dark: Apocalypse.

Everything about darkseid is fukking disturbing when you sit down to think about it.
Parademons are reanimated corpses or brainwashed slaves whose being is twisted into this form.
Slaves are completely broken and subservient to him and they are kidnapped from other world's. Life is a living hell and only death is the release.
Apokalips the planet itself occupied a frequency that is between the physical universe and hell
Then darkseid himself.......who knows wtf he is. All you face are avatars that beat down superman level characters but his true form casts a shadow on the multiverse itself and it's death could potentially end everything. He is an essential part of the universe which means getting rid of him for good could be a lose lose situation.
He is an Eldritch abomination that could place the Omega sanction on someone causing them to die over and over for eternity. Each death worse than the last.

Even death is no escape

I agree with brehs saying Batman should've said something about the stupidity of the plan....but this version of Superman wasn't trying to hear it.....from anybody...at anytime....This version of Clark was not scared to flex his power at all...in fact he was always arrogant about doing it

First time he shows up on screen the 1st shyt he says is "Hmm what can you do?"
Then proceeds to slap Batman and GL up while the whole time

But the most telling scene of the dynamic between this Bruce and Clark is during throne of Atlantis while looking for clues about Arthur

This Version of him was still All-loving hero but man, he had the arrogance of the Saiyan Prince lmao....and it cost him the Earth, the love of his life, all his friends and teammates etc... So now everybody can see a humble farming Clark is a good thing..its when he gets to feeling himself too much that shyt like this and injustice happens
