It was just that Jay, DMX, and Ja Rule musically were hotter at the moment. That's why Red&Meth were the openers during the tour. Red & Meth were promoting an image. How High came out the very next year

Of course they were weed heads to begin with they actually were promoting an image for the public. These dudes were definitely making moves. They figured a couple of squeals plus a tv show but it just fizzled out.

Wayne surely had a bigger and better work ethic than all of the other hotboys combined. Wayne is on the forbes list because of high grossing tours and getting over 100k a feature. A major thing that people forget about Jay-z is that he came in the game in his late 20s with his own company pushing his career. Mainly cuz DefJam wouldnt sign him. So Jay had no choice to be business minded in this game, coupled with the fact that he was already old and mature and had a good team behind him who genuinely cared about his intrest first at RocaFella (Dame,Biggs,Hof etc)
