Battle Royale fans....:obama:

I was straight obsessed with that movie in highschool, I was on this straight asian cinema craze for awhile.

I actually ended up getting the (Not as good) second movie for free. The company I had been ordering DVD's sent it to me by accident, it was billed to some guy in Texas but arrived at my door step. Like I said, not as good, but free is free....:manny:

The Hunger Games books were that ish...1 was great, 2 was good (I didn't like the abrupt ending) and 3 was....NO COMMENT. Y'all young'uns need to read.

I think the movie was good enough to accommodate the book. Of course there were a lot they couldn't convey on screen, her thoughts are what projects the horrors of the games and they couldn't show too much because it's a kids film. The romance angle was played for the screen and was more of a comrades from same town on her part than on his.

Matter of fact, I'm about to re-read the trilogy

nikkas reading books....the fukk? :what:

on to the movie......shyt was straight basura......first half was aiight but by the time it got to the hunger games shyt went completely down the drain

the love story also came outta no where......I still don't know if it was all an act by Jennifer Lawrence's character or whether it was real.....shyt was just awkward

only saving grace of the movie was the lil white girl in the beginning that got picked......you know shorty is gonna be fine as fukk in about 4-5 years :youngsabo:

Pretty sure it was rated R. For what, I'm still trying to figure out.

It was PG-13. There were practically NO on screen kills. The hype is from the book. Read the books, then watch the movie and you'll appreciate it more. You may not like it, but you'll understand why.

And why does everyone keep mentioning Battle Royal?

I was :ohhh::damn::noah::snoop: when she got got.

Really? I didn't feel anything for her at all in the movie. When she got got I was like oh well. How am I suppose to feel sorry for someone who was on the screen for 5-10minutes in total before dying. And then all that extra crying Jennifer Lawrence did for her was just unnecessary IMO. They never developed her character enough for me to care.

I know they want you to care, So I get why u say it wasn't long enough. But story wise it made perfect sense.

She had a little sister the same age. She was there so her sister wouldn't die. Then Rue saved her twice. Once telling her about the bees and then again by treating her, changing her clothes (probably wiping her ass too), and keeping her alive and safe. Then she gave her the intel on everyone and what was going on....

All that to die in her arms. Then Rue tells her to sing to her, just as her sister used to do. It's perfectly understandable how a teenage girl would cry about that for hours
