Really? I didn't feel anything for her at all in the movie. When she got got I was like oh well. How am I suppose to feel sorry for someone who was on the screen for 5-10minutes in total before dying. And then all that extra crying Jennifer Lawrence did for her was just unnecessary IMO. They never developed her character enough for me to care.

you have to read the book to understand. they spent like a whole chapter on Rue. She started to feel protective over her.

I know they want you to care, So I get why u say it wasn't long enough. But story wise it made perfect sense.

She had a little sister the same age. She was there so her sister wouldn't die. Then Rue saved her twice. Once telling her about the bees and then again by treating her, changing her clothes (probably wiping her ass too), and keeping her alive and safe. Then she gave her the intel on everyone and what was going on....

All that to die in her arms. Then Rue tells her to sing to her, just as her sister used to do. It's perfectly understandable how a teenage girl would cry about that for hours

exactly.

this part always gets me :sadcam: :pacspit: the black kid for leaving Rue out there helpless

I wish the movie could've been alot more gritty/violent. It would've been more true to the book. These kids are butchering each other & the most we got were shaky camera angles.

(DONT READ!!!)
For example, I doubt they're going to show Alma Coin get shot in the head, everybody getting eaten by that monster when they stormed the Capitol or Prim get blown to pieces.

But I understand its marketed to tweens. So they're limited in what they can do.

seriously though, you're trying to sell this movie to the 4 people in America who haven't seen it. what's the stand out scene? nothing in the 2nd half of the movie was memorable. I'd argue the first half, before they even got in the forrest was better if i had to choose.

When it was the two of them left, Katniss shouldv'e put some arrows in Peeta's chest, and then went home and gave Gale the puss.

It wasn't really about the scenes, but more about the situation that they were in. All of this is televised so they could've shown more of the reaction from the districts, but that's also why they kept imploring Stanley Tucci as the color commentary provider.

I'm watching it again right now, and I'm enjoying the movie more and more. I only wish they would've done the Mutts like they are in the book to REALLY show the cruelty of the capitol.

good movies have memorable scenes no matter what it's about. i dont even know what could be considered the memorable scene this. The shakey cam bullshyt when they first get out there? the a$$hole kid getting eaten by the dog? i honestly dont know. Her voluteering? The horrible scenes where she nurses him in the cave?

They fake it till they make it for the entire series.

Movie wasn't very good. I'm not a huge Jennifer Lawrence fan either. Mainly because I thought she was one of the worst picks to play Mystique in First Class. Just fukking horrible. She did not fit that role. And not to nitpick, but her face was like....puffy. I dunno brehs. bytch's face looked fat. Wasn't a fan.
