Just saw James Bond, Skyfall

The movie was ok but it didnt feel epic enough. The motivation for the villain was corny.

You got your own island, money, all types of p*ssy, an army of goons, and so much power you're distorting international finance markets or whatever other devious shyt you feel like doing that day and you throw it all away for some old broad who did you shiesty 17 years ago?

I mean i guess he felt like he had to go at her neck because they were on his trail. But wow, why not just, go somewhere else. He escaped, and then came back just to kill her, failed, then came back AGAIN to try to kill her. You know, when the heat is on demonic individuals with his level of intelligence usually just lay low. He wasnt a realistic villain to me based on his level of training and intelligence.

I agree. There was just something missing and I can't necessarily put my finger on it. It just didn't affect me on an emotional level like Casino Royale did. That girl did James so demonically :cry:

They really dropped the ball with Bond games this gen. Youd think they could of followed up on From Russia With Love with either another Connery game or giving Moore fans like me a game.

Man with the Golden Gun or Live and Let Die woulda been ill ass games.

They got this Bond legends game coming out which is gonna be ill but I just dont see why they gotta put Craig in all of the movie shyt for the game. It takes a lil bit away from it

So I copped a brand new sketchbook and i wanted to make the first page just POP OUT, so i thought id kick things off right with some bond james bond, now ive drawn connery before but ive always wanted to try daniel craig however i was never happy with the result as shown in the first draft of this page, thanks to a little wisdom from chase connelly i was able to take the look of 007 and make it mine, big ups to witz from draw2d for the concept drawing of jaws from the spy who loved me, that illustration has always stuck with me and dammit it needs its just do!

Finally saw it today. Love the visuals and different locales, good action sequences.. but way too long. They could've shaved at least 30 minutes off easily. hate to say this but it was almost like I was watching a Dark Knight remake.

Did Bond have to have the same background as Batman?Bardem was basically the Joker but I understood the Joker 10x more simply because he just wanted chaos. Mr Silver was simply on some bullshyt. Plus the calm, cool, never paranoid, always has a cool line to say- villian is kinda played out. They did have something to work with dude as a crazy homo tech wiz, he just needed a better story and a reason to whil' out imo. And where did the Bond girl go? after the island scene she disappeared.

-It was good entertainment though, he needed a couple of gadgets though. not absurd ones but something in the realm of possibility
